| Me and a buddy got a free pass from a drawing at a local con last September, so I'll be there with bells on. With the event list now available and a decent bit of DDM events as well as quadrillions of other fun stuff, I was wondering if I'd get the chance to meet any Maxminiers (or is it Maxminites?) in person.

| It's Maxminonianites....
I Won't be there this year, but plan on making a big con loop next year, hitting 3-4 cons in the summer.

| I am in the process of talking my way into enough hours of judging to get someone to pay for my hotel and badge. If I can manage that, then I have to talk my boss into giving me two days off (Thursday and Friday that week).
If this combo takes place, I'll be there.

| Origins is a great choice for your first big con. It has an oddly different feel to it than Gen Con. It is sorta like a "Big Con for Beginners". As fun as the other big cons, but half the hassle.

| | Sounds great, I've already gotten signed up for a bunch of stuff and will surely sign up for more, but am wondering, are there typically people selling minis and books at discounted prices, or is it mostly msrp? I was hoping to pick up a couple books and a couple of cases of Night Below while I was there, but if it's MSRP, I'll just order them. | |

| There are a few factors that are making me think I won't do it after all.
1) It's a 5-ish hour drive there.
2) I don't really want to spend another Wednesday-to-Sunday away from the family, especially with GenCon coming up.
3) It looks like a local retailer will be having a release tournament that weekend.
