| Hey I was just wondering if anyone would like to have 1pt 2pt fillers if so what would they be. My idea is for items that have no attack/damage but could be used to hinder or slow your opponent.
Stalagmites/Stalactites (LOS) Statues (LOS) rubble piles (difficult terrain) treasure piles (difficult terrain)

| | Forget skirmish: I'd love some cheap commons depicting unarmed commoners. I ran a D&D session last night that included a large number of normal people in a crowded street that got caught up in a battle. You have no idea how often the players had to ask, "Now, that mini there...the guy with the crossbow...he's just a commoner, right? He's not actually armed with a crossbow, is he?" | | "Clearly a case of too many hunchbacks and not enough mad scientists..." | |

| | Not sure these filler pieces should be able to take up an activation in the skirmish game, or even ness need representation in mini form. | | Champion of the Kender ckissee - "providing TPK's since 2007" Albert Einstein never once said that if the bees disappeared, "man would have only four years of life left" but the theory is a scary prospect. | |

| Minis would be cool too of course, but simple 1 or 2 pts rules would be fun or even more expensive ones. | | I think 1 or 2 pt pieces would be great. maybe something like a small boy who would one day be destined to be a warrior but right now he's 8 yrs old and his village is being plundered and is forced to fight. also the option of cards that grant things to your warband strays away from ddm and starts heading towards other types of card games I'm not sure of how much I would be into that | | VENDELPHIAN CHAMPION OF ELDEVERE

| | I would like to see this idea into the D&D skirmish :cards (like magic:TG) with strategies for your warband with a cost. For example: offensive or deffensive formations wich give + to your attack or AC ...I would be interesting but they never create it for sure. This is a minis game (no cards) nad probably people dislike them because it would make the game harder | | LOVE THIS GIRL | |

| On a similar thread on the WotC boards, I posted these two.
Potion of Cure Light Wounds Any 2 points Level 1 Speed 0 AC 5 HP 5 Type Tiny Construct Special Abilities Fearless Cure light wounds (Immediate; if this item is adjacent to a living creature, that creature can gain 5 hit points when it activates, doing so eliminates this item. Doing so provokes an attack of opportunity from all creatures that threaten this item's space.) Carried (Any creature adjacent to this item can, when moves on its turn, place this item in any square adjacent to itself when it finishes its movement. Doing so provokes an attack of opportunity from all creatures that threaten this item's space. If this item is placed onto a pit square, it is eliminated.)
So, you have this empty activation each round that can be used to heal one of your figures unless an enemy steals it. That's it, that's all it does. It can't attack, it can't be used to damage undead, etc. All for 2 points.
Common Dog Any 3 points Level 1 Speed 8 AC 15 HP 5 Type Small Animal Melee +2 (5) Special Abilities Pet (This piece costs only 1 point to add to a warband and does not count toward the figure limit if that warband contains at least one 3-point humanoid that is not itself a minion.)
The special ability limits you. Exactly how many Dogs do you want in your band? But, it also means that for 4 points you can add a Human Commoner and a Common Dog to a Lawful Good warband, which is a very nice alternative to LG's current 4-point options.

| I think the real problem is that most people don't want to be pulling 1- and 2-point "commoners" out of their $15 packs (myself included). At the same time, I don't want to have to purchase a case of packs in order to get the number of commoners I might want/need for my roleplaying campaign.
To me, the ideas presented in the above posts are perfect for a non-random boxed set. Simply sell X number of dogs, peasants, commoners, etc. for $20. That way I know what I'm getting and the hardcore skirmishers aren't stuck with a bunch of "flavorful" minis that don't contribute to the skirmish metagame. Perhaps these dogs/commoners/whatnot could have stat cards, which would allow people to use them in skirmish if they really want to (which functionally wouldn't be any different than the non-random Icons line coming with skirmish stats). | | "Clearly a case of too many hunchbacks and not enough mad scientists..." | |

| I'd much rather not see 1 and 2 point fillers. From an RPG perspective I can see some potential for minis that might not otherwise be made (i.e. a Tiny cat). However, there would also probably end up being a bunch of "unarmed commoner" minis that aren't desirable.
From a skirmish perspective, 1 and 2 point fillers would completely alter game balance. Part of the intricacy of building a warband (and selecting pieces for that warband) is determining how close you can come to 8+ activations and exactly 200 points. 1 and 2 point fillers would give an edge to certain "beef" bands that should either miss hitting the full 8 activations or hitting the full 200 points.

| | Non random box sets would be the way to go with that. All I use DDM for is RPG, but I'd be annoyed if they had these because they aren't that useful. Great for maybe a couple of encounters, but hey are really throwaway. They just wouldn't add enough to games to take up slot spaces. Now, in a non random set, they'd be perfect. Although, would it be worth it for WOTC to make them? Not sure. | | Completed trades: blackthorne, Drakkengi,Thorgrin, Ironfist Boulderbender x2, ckissee, nasamonkey, Username, Star, Ace13 x3, emontedodger x2, Drconveyor, church, Joeyb, Sir Bozak The Damned, Xeromod, the other guy x2, Qucalion of Celene, Dagaron x2, berus316, qillan_dvra, AshloreDarkShadow
