| The gnoll looks interesting, though I could very well be biased in that assessment because I thoroughly enjoy gnolls on the RPG side of things as well as me wanting to make a warband of them with the Gnoll Sergeant simply as a theme. | | Champion of the Prismatic Golem

| LWD has 80 HPs
I like the Gnoll and the Halfling.
Loot is a nice ability, but putting it on a 25-point figure is too much, I think.

| Lots of potential...
the only one I see as really problematic is the Kalastar bodygaurd: would you chose it over Dragonmarked heir??? Even if your running Inspired Marshal and Quori??? She would need a few uses of both Psychic strike and Lucky weapon to even come close. The ranged att is okay but low bonus and only range 6. No energy immunity, one att, and less dmg output likely... lower att bonus and ac too... no sidestep... Hope thats an incomplete stat...
Drow enforcer and gnoll claw fighter have lots of potential...
Raistlin and Wulfgar are both good... Wulfgar might be too good to be true... wow...
Large white will see play! despite flighty... Dragon shades is on!
tombseeker might be the most "broken" piece of the set. That's a crazy special ability, especially with agile too... and its a solid piece on top of that...
Jarl is CE's titan! 35dmg and cleave huh... lots of cold dmg and stunning rend to boot... nice, won't like the forgepriest though... too much fire...
Wild mage looks great. Thats a lot of variable dmg types but wild magic aura could ruin allies... Fragile!!!
Mind Flayer lich will depend on DC's and Evards tentacles... could be amazing or could be just too costly... if it's good LE Fearless will show up lots..
Lifeleech otyugh will also depend on DC, good att bonus and good hp though... LE OR CE...
LvL's low is okay. It seems like everything is near fearless these days anyway and that most DC's are not scary at all. I dont' mind the low lvls as long as its across the board. | | Rock Bottom Pricing: Arcane Archer 30, Centaur Hero 67, Human Cleric of Bane 25, Gold Champion 34, Death Knight 52, Goblin Blackblade 9, Silentwolf Goblin 7, Orc Raider 10, Dwarf axefighter 9, Healer 9, Thaskor 65, Aspect of Demogorgon 71, Ogre 9, Fire Giant 79, Human Wanderer 7, Drunken Master 18, Barghest 12, Longstider Barbarian 27, Longtooth Barbarian 22, Frost Giant 76, Ravenous Vampire 42, Large Earth Elemental: priceless | |

| Lifeleech is one of the bad rares of the set
The new bodyguard seem to be good because she has 10 extra HPs in comparison with other bodyguards, she can stop 2 attacks of FGFP... amaizing
I agree Tomb seeker ios broken unit of the set.... and is CG for simple casuality...
Wulfgar and Rastlin looks really good... sweet!
New CE units have a lot of potencial.... that Gnoll is awesome!

| Holy crap, nice.
The Lifeleech Otyugh has potential. It has a good cost to HP ratio, plus the ability to gain even more HP back. I'm actually liking that mini. Nice combo with Vampire Dire Wolves and others.

| hmm here's one:
Raistlin + Greenfang Druid = free spell boosting
I'm still not seeing the use of the LWD, sure its a lot of HP for its cost, but it can't hit the broadside of a barn and its damage isn't that great. I really don't see why I'd take one over a zombie white dragon off the top of my head- at least I know I'll get full value out of the ZWD. | | Call me: W.N. | Raistlin + greenfang= wow how did I not see that... doh!!! You get the Holy Toledo Award for that one... I don't give those out very often...
LWD will see play... compare to large black and take your 12pts... elemental dmg variety is seldom, if ever, a bad thing... Won't replace black completly but will replace the third or fourth one... Helps a lot vs ultro forge... does your dragonmarked eat all elemental dmg and your firegiant not take cold or do you protect against acid? it was a poor match up for blacks before... now more interesting and a dmg type the Ultroloth isn't immune to. Hits the same and slightly less hard than black... what's not to like??? (double dmg from fire i guess)...

| | Im interested to see how the Frost Giant Jarl will do and if it will live up to the great Forgepriest. With stats closely aligned I dont know if he'll be worth the extra 18 pts. I however like the quake, the fact that he is a commander and S. Rend. I also cant wait for the Mindflayer Lich . Finally a mindflayer with some other damage dealing spells. Im hoping to pull one of these guys early on for I think he'll be really viable. | | VENDELPHIAN CHAMPION OF ELDEVERE

| I stand corrected in a previous post that I wasn't too pleased with this set. It's looking a little better now. Wulfgar is looking like my favorite so far. And I love the combinations you can use with Raistlin. Imagine drawing him AND Wulfgar in limited play! Good times. I completely agree that LWD is a good trade for a third or fourth LBD. In the case of Ultraforge it's not fun cuz Forgepriest can either take 20-40 damage from the LWD or 20-50 damage from the LBDs or 30-75 if you're running three of them plus a LWD. Decisions, decisions... The Mindflayer is nice too. Now the Tombeseeker's Loot ability is pretty cool. It kinda reminds me of an ability I thought of for a thief mini I was messing with where before initiative if the piece is near an enemy it can steal 10 VPs, but only do it a couple times a game. I like this Tombseeker's a little better though, haha This is turning out to be a cool set. I especially like some of the sculpts.
