| Hey, guys. Just got back from Wizard World East. They were giving out a new promo fig from the upcoming Night Below. So if you don't want to know, stop reading.
It's the Shadow, fig 60/60. It looks really cool in person. Made out of clear plastic with something new with the base. The section that the mini attaches to is clear so you can see the shadow itself is hollow while the rest is the solid black plastic that is normal.

| Are you sure the rest is solid black plastic? After using an Inspired Shock Trooper for modding, I found that the entire base is clear plastic painted black. This seems standard for most clear-plastic minis.
When you look through he clear part of the base does the color shift abruptly to black or does it fade into black?
Morbid curiosity more than anything. The shadow mini looks very sweet. Can't wait to get my hands on a few. Sure beats my Medium Astral Constructs painted black. | |

| I think it is painted now that you mention it. Just looking at it normally, I hadn't noticed it until you mentioned it. Now putting it up to light I can see the paint. Thanks for catching this.

No DC. It's probably to represent the strenght damage a character takes when hit with a touch attack from a shadow.
Even though it is clear, they got a cool mix of colors. It's darker as you go up the fig so it's not monochromatic like a fire elemental.

But just to be clear, the base is not completely clear. Part of it is black. The only parts that are clear are the areas that allow you to see into the mini.
