OK, on another thread I posted this arrangement of rares for my "dream" case: Raistlin Large Shadow Dragon Large White Dragon Large Gold Dragon Frost Giant Jarl Wulfgar Clawborn Scorrow Shadowbane Inquisitor Orc Banebreak Rider Dracotaur Rager Beserk Flesh Golem Valiant Calvary I just opened my first case and I scored 11 of 12 rares on that list! Sub Exarch of Tyranny for the Large White Dragon. I went into the game store and the owner had 12 boosters set aside for me, NOT a sealed case. At first I thought, "I wish he had kept them in the box," but after this dumb luck, I'm glad he didn't! Note: I pushed my luck after opening the case and bought two more boosters, hoping to get the White. Instead I got another Beserk Flesh Golem and Aspect of Loviatar. Bleh. Oh well, I'm feeling LUCKY! BOOYAHKASHA!

Wow. That's amazing, and the benefits of playing with chance. Even with the great pulls, did you ask the store not to do it again and leave the case intact?

No - especially since, as a former game store owner, I felt kind of bad about picking up a case at a discount. I plan on buying my remaining boosters at full retail in order to give him my full support. I know it sounds silly, but I know what it is like as a FLGS to be constantly undercut by eBay sellers. So I told the owner - "Look, I want to get one case up front at a discount. After that, I'll get extra boosters at the full retail."

I get my cases at a 20% discount, it's the most my FLGS can afford to give me. I don't feel guilty about it however, he's moving more product than he normally would when I buy by the case. It warms my heart when other people choose to spend a few extra dollars and buy from an FLGS.� For the record, I am fully aware that some people have no 'F' or 'L' in their closest GS.�

yup.. for me, the nearest game-stores dont run any events, and it takes like 1:30 hours including travel back and forth from it.. i just buy mine from the internet now.

Champion of Wildshaped druid in with natural spell! Thus said froffenhoffer The Official through the heart, and im to blame archer.

Nice pulls.� From my two cases, here's what I pulled: Large White Dragon Frost Giant Large Gold Dragon Greater Basilisk Valiant Cavalry Lady Vol Raistlin Skeletal Courser Guardian Naga Wulfgar Aspect of Loviatar Lifeleech Otyugh Heirophant Orc Banebreak Rider x2 Dire Tiger x2 Noble Salamander x2 Clawborn Sorrow x2 Dread Wraith x2 Dractaur Rager Not too bad at all. Decent doubles. I got a LGD, a LWD, the Frost Giant. And neither case was the same (like last time) phew!� Sadly I got 2 Dread Wraiths. Also, no Large Shadow Dragon, Mind Flayer Lich, Berserk Flesh Golem, Exarch of Tyranny, or Shadowbane Inquisitor.� I'm very please with this pull.�

Nameless, Well, I've added the 3 that weren't on my list to my trade list already. I've thrown an offer out to someone with the Exarch. I should have a couple more minis for my trade list after today's tournament.
