| I was just curious.
Am I the only one here who still hasn't gotten any minis from this set yet? I mean, it looks like a good set and I'd like to pick up some boosters. I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
It seems like as soon as a set drops, everyone here has 2 bagged sets collected within 3 days. Is any one else dragging their feet collecting this set? | | Champion of Phanatons.

Wow, sorry to hear that. Always sucks to lose someone from the community....I definitely can see where you're coming from, though. My group has pretty much disintegrated and the rare times we do get together, it's just not that fun. Skirmish-wise, there is no scene either, so I'm mainly getting pieces for collecting at the moment and I'm not too sure how much longer I can justify the expense with the baby coming. | | Eye dun no why youse guys think im not relly a person im jimgang from canada but im moving to cali as soon as i get a master card -Jimgang So, you stand at your grave, Has your soul yet been taken away? | | I myself don't play D&D anymore. All the suplements and scourcebooks that Wotc kept putting out got anoying after a while. Right now I'm looking into getting rid of most of my D20 stuff. I'm planning on keeping the three core books and two or three others. I still use the D&D minatures in Roleplaying games, I've just moved onto other (none-d20) systems for Roleplaying.
I'll likely start looking at getting rid of at least 75% of my collection, mostly older stuff from the first few sets. My purchases of the new sets have slowed down quite a bit. All in all I've gotten 8 boosters for nightbelow, as opposed to my 2-3 cases per set. Heck I didn't even pick up any of the Alliance and Empire, which is a game I play way more than DDM. | | Pathetic Earthlings. | Oops, I said D&D, but meant generic RPGing.
~
Alliance & Empire seemed to have more repeats of previous sets. I know my friends who collect SWM didnt bother with thier normal massive order, and cited that as the reason. | | "Mutton yesterday, mutton today, and blimey, if it don't look like mutton again tomorrer." | Well, I finally got some not below. Maybe I just got bad pulls, but I'm pretty unimpressed w this set. The Barghest looks good, and the Darkmantle and Giant Eagle will see a lot of use. But the set doesn't seem all that great for RPG. Too much psionic stuff and Dragonspawn for my tastes.
Of course, I've only picked up 3 boosters so far. Maybe the other half of the set looks awesome in hand. | | Champion of Phanatons.

yep... For reasons different from many others... No way am I paying the price for these boosters. 14.99?! Get bent! On top of that, I can't justify the expenses of buying, and I have sold 1/2 my collection already... Now it's down to the last half of my collection.
