| While checking out how the new Hobgoblin Marshall looked with the rest of my Hobgoblin army, I was reminded of the rather odd fact that I have 80 Hobgoblin Sergeants. The reason for this was that I thought a Hobgoblin Army would be very cool, and I was a little too late to get large numbers of the Hobgoblin Warrior. I liked the look of the Sergeant, and at that time, they were plentiful. I was wondering if others had an inordinate amount of a paticular mini (other than non-wanted excess), and why you collected them  | |

| I think it's a tie between the elf and orc that come standard in the War Drums starter. I somehow got my hands on a case of starters and every booster seem to have them as well. If I lost four or five, I'd probably not nice.

| Strangely enough in my War Drums boosters I never pulled many of the Orcs, tons of the Wood Elf Skirmishers though.
It would probably be my 17 Bullywug Thugs.

| 26 Celestial Dire Badgers. Oddly enough, they actually get used a lot since Summon Monster spells are extremely popular in our group.
I have around 20 Timber Wolves, but around half have been modified to have goblin riders.
Not sure I have more than 10 of anything else and then only for a few minis (Stirge for example). | |

| I've tried to never get more than 10 of any one mini as storage for my collection is already a problem.
Not surprisingly, the miniature I have the most of the Duergar Warrior - around 20. I won some big Ebay auctions of them when they first came our in Archfiends. | |

| I have 28 Formian Warriors that I hope to one day use in my rpg game. I have 22 Sahuagins that I got to use in our last adventure. My cutoff is normally 15 minis though unless an adventure calls for more.

Dire Rats (GoL version), I have 16 of them I think. Not sure exactly, as I have not counted them recently.
Other than that I usually keep no more than 12 of any mini, and usually no more than 8.

| Well originally I would have said Unpainted. I clearly have more pre-painted minis now. Between my old Mage Knight, Hero Clicks, Horror clicks, DDM and SWM.
As far as SWM.... Well I've got lots and lots of Battle Droids, over 60 I'd say.

When there's a rare that could be fun to have in multiples for RPG purposes, I do go out of my way to secure more than one, though. | |

In many cases, by no means all, it's almost a catch-22. If you want a lot of them, you usually won't get them. If you don't, you get too many.
