| Heard it too, but I'll believe it when I see it.
And you never know. The fig may not go to the same price heights as others since it's not as current a character as Elminster or Drizzt. The last book that actively featured him as a main character was Brothers in Arms in 1999. Not a guarantee, but it might mitigate some of the speculation. | |

Right now, it looks like the choices are:
1. Attend Gen Con and get one free.
2. Wait until Gen Con is over and spend $100+
3. Commission one that will cost less, look better, but not be official and be happy.
4. Live without and spend the $ on Beholder Liches...wait, that's just me...
I certainly hope if I was to requisition one from some able-bodied painter, that the base would not have stray brush strokes all over it like this one appears to. Looks good, otherwise though. | |

Yeah don't forget the final book of that series is called Dragons of the Hourglass Mage. The entire book is centered on Raist and his rise to power. | |

| | I will say now that I reread it the lost chronicles do mesh well with the original series, but maybe because I'm older it doesn't have the same "awesome" factor as the Twins series did. Possibly because I know what is going to happen. I'm not sure if this series will put Raistlin at the heights he enjoyed in the mid to late 80s. | |
