| I payed $120AU for a CRD... I would've happily paid $150AU-$200AU for an official Garg. Orcus... This is proof that WotC does have a direct line to God. | I got the impression from what I was reading in the various GenCon blogs that it sounded like the Icons line was not a real hot line of minis and that Orcus was even less of a hot item judging by the reactions of the public and the distributors. I can't remember where exactly I read this, but it sounded like many distributors were not even interested in carrying this mini.

I miss the original orcus, the potbellied redneck demon... Then there's the factor that he isn't gargantuan either in any sourcebook that I can recall.. I'd use it as a very powerful balor.

It's the same listing as before (down to the release date), so I think it's just the old listing that was never removed and has been rediscovered.
For the sake of those of you who want a gargantuan Orcus, I hope it's been returned to the release schedule, but I really doubt it...

Your probably right, I thought it had been pulled, the guys at the minis seminar said it would be, so seeing it again made me think they figured something out with the price point. Too bad it looked sweet I would have paid $40 for it.

I'm still in the resounding meh-camp on Garg Orcus, don't mind the concept, but hated the sculpt. Would mean it'd be the first mini I won't be buying, don't know how long I would cope, I bought big blue as well and that turned out a major dud.

| I got the Gargantuan Black and that was about it. I didn't think I'd ever use the red or blue dragons. Releasing Dritz with the White Dragon was step in the right direction, but not something I needed either. | |

IMO the Icons are reasonably priced, but they could be costed less so that more consumers can purchase them.Â

IMHO: Not in comparison with Black, White and Red icons. Paint-job is sloppy and I'm not a fan of the pose either. What's up with his tongue? And why does the tail not match the body? Etc.
