For the next month, I'll be kicking hundreds of monsters into shape, from Aboleth to Zombie, or thereabouts. Right now, the plan is to have as many, if not more, monsters in the Monster Manual as the 3.5 MM1. Right now, that translates into alot of work.
I've also had a recent look at some of the early sculpts of next year's minis set. I think the ***** will get alot of people excited - as it's something many people didn't think we could accomplish. Check the minis page for updates on the Desert of Desolation set, if you need more of a minis fix. __________________ Stephen Schubert RPG/Minis R&D

Hmm, I wonder what a "*****" is?
I've long thought they couldn't (or wouldn't) do a Rust Monster, but that's a "**** *******" and not a "*****" so I don't know what to think.

| Yeah, too bad rust monster is a **** ******. I have been waiting for a couple of years for a rust monster.

| I'd love a hydra.
I don't think that people thought WotC "couldn't" make one. I think people thought that WotC "wouldn't" make one. The sculpt isn't likely much more difficult than Tiamat and that was made...

| Next year = 2008. Dungeons of dread or july's giant set ? Since the mini Shoe's talking about was obviously difficult to make, I'd say huge, or with many parts... I'd bet on the hydra, too. I'd discard horse and rust monster : frankly, they don't seem difficult to make, it's more of a marketing choice if they still haven't been done. Other possibility : aquatic minis at last...

Possibly. From my experience, I have not seen him use asterisks when talking about something in a set without using them to represent a hidden name of the same number of characters as the asterisks. But that doesn't mean he wouldn't do that, necessarily.

JUst in case he is using the 5 letters code, we should also have in mind the option of the Titan.

| Posted By greyhaze on 09/10/2007 6:52 AM The only thing is that Titans, dryads & nymphs were not done not due to their difficulty. Hydra was not done due to it's difficulty. It seems so. To assemble a lot of heads and necks to a main, single body might not be easy task. In the other way, if they have managed to make Cloud Giants and elves, they will surely be quite capable of Titans, nymphs and dryads.
