| Thanks Maijstral! Appreciate your efforts.
Unfortunately, I think this set is even worse than WOTDQ.

| Thanks a bunch for the fix maijstral!!!! Unfortunately, I think it's looking like the worst ever set, even worse than I thought UH was. | Sweet. I'm especially happy to see that quite a few minis have been redone, including the Harpy, Ettercap, Manticore, Large Fire Elemental and Large Spider (I only got into minis a year ago). It's a pity the Vrock didn't make it but I'm sure it will turn up in a set soon.  Olaf the Stout | | My Trade Thread 12 Trades Completed - Bert the Troll, Keoki, elf_ranger, kalle, Dropbear, twilightraven, SkYlyn3, Monolthicus (x2), qillan_dvra, xuthal, MMT 2007 My Reference Thread | |

| Thanks heaps for the scans
I like many of the choices. Dont mind the reprints at all. Nice to see on the whole better jobs than harbinger.
The harpy is much better.
Really like the merchant guard and most of other human types.
I'm hoping the large fire elemental looks a great deal betetr in hand. as is looks more liek a wall of fire spell effect .
Always like common cultist types :)
Blade spider is very meh.
Tieflings look quite different to the previous ones imo - maybe thats just the tails and redder skins....
The boar makes sense... though cant help feeling that someone at WoTC as a dwarf PC :| (not that there anything wrong with that)
Croc seems undesired but
Most seem okay, though many I could manage without.

Lies. Horrible, horrible lies.
Crocs are summonable, therefore, highly desirable. I can finally stop using Khumat
Overall, I'm pretty impressed (which is saying a lot considering that this set has been underwhelming). There are very few 'dead' sculpts (although apparently Drow suffer from 'crappy-pose' syndrome). Most of the poses are surprisingly dynamic.
I don't much care for the concept of the dryad. I like the concept of the Manticore returning to a far more 'traditional' look.
Overall, I'm fairly pleased. Despite there being a ton of resculpts (over half the set?) there are still a number of minis I'd like to get my grubby hands on. I have no complaints about rarity selection, either (things I'd like multiples of are common/uncommon).
While there isn't anything that screams "OMFG Steam Roxxorz the one111!!!" it definitely looks like a solid set. Well done Shoe et al.

| | A lot of good stuff here for RPG DM's to use in their games.  The farmer is great, and there are others that fit new NPC niches. The statue and the fire elemental can be used as a regular statue and as a bonfire or wall of fire effect. The ogre can be used as an enlarged orc or hobgoblin. The werewolf champion can be used as a gnoll. I see a number of interesting things that are interested because I'll use them as something other than what they are supposed to be. The one thing I don't like is that a number of the monsters look a bit cartoony to me, especially in their faces. Someone is doing sculpts with an artistic style I don't like. I also don't like the amount of resculpts, but overall there are enough new monsters that I think I'll get a case or two. | | | |

| Thanks to everyone for all the work getting us our spoiler fix. A little disappointed in the set, but minis are minis so wahoo.... I'll find a use for most of them.
Still glad I ebay'd the set rather than going with the 3-4 cases. Most of the rares I don't need/want multiples of.

| Hello,
I have to say that having seen the poster and most of the minis at the pre-release I am feeling a bit better about the set now than when we knew so little before.
I have to agree that the previews were lacking, but the set is not as bad as it could have been (not the best either, but still pretty good).
Cheers
