| At last, I got my 2 cases (should have got them friday, but my schedule didn't fit). Anyway, my daughters and I had a fun hour of booster opening once again. They are turning into professional cherrypickers
I had the best possible start : first booster, G-cube !!! Happy Pasquall.
I was very lucky with the rares : I only got 4 duplicates (average of 6) : angel of vengeance, sphinx, osyluth and naga. Not the best duplicates I could ever dream of, but could have been worse too. I'm missing elf conjurer, mercenary general, drider and umber hulk. I couldn't care less for the mercenary, but the other 3 are great and I'll have to buy them. Too bad for the umber hulk, that I think might get quite expensive... Oh, anyway.
The uncommon were almost perfectly balanced, as I got 3 of most of them (18), and 4 fire elementals , only 2 tiefling rogues and 2 shadar kai assassins . Award of the "most bendy ever mini" for the assassin, as it only sticks to the base with 1 foot
Nothing special with the commons.
Another nice thing is the way they protect the skeleton with the hard plastic piece : it cannot possibly bend. Good.
Now I have it in hand, I think it's a pretty good set. Far better than what I had envisioned with the few previews.
Oh, and for the cherry pickers : the heaviest mini by far is the bar-lgura, equal to cyclop + boar or troll + warhorse... A really heavy booster probably contains a bar-lgura, for those interested...

NIce to know about that!!!
So, not good miniatures on heavy boosters!

| Pity you missed the Drider. So far, that suckers reigning champeen for expensive rare from the set (much higher even than the Umber Hulk).
Sounds like very good case distribution (although I'd personally be bent pulling two Angels of Vengeance).

| Also, for the cherry-pickers out there, the G-Cube just barely fits in the booster. If you find a booster out there that doesn't have much give in it, chances are it contains a G-Cube. | I have never had any luck with Cherry-Picking. Tried it with the Huges in GOL. Never ever got what I was trying for.
Buddy of mine has "magic mini hands" but it is probably just luck.
I'm not sure it really works. Best to just buy all the Boosters and be sure...... GRIN

| | Almost. I've been tracking them using the number you gave me. They cleared customs yesterday, and are in the same city as me now. You can finish up the rest of your side of the trade too. "Received" and then "Feedback". Thanks again, can't wait. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades. | |
