| I figured that the odds of getting epic cards for the current game for some figures have now become zero. I started making some just for myself. Wanted to know what you thought of the idea. Here's one of the first: (EDIT: Added Woodland Stride) |

| | I'd like to see an epic version of the Treant myself, and your version looks pretty good. The ability, Forest Guise, is a good one. You might also want to give it Woodland Stride - this creature is not slowed by forest terrain (high mobility, after all, is a CG trait). Another very cool ability would be one that allows sight through forest squares - it could make melee reach 3 very interesting. Double damage from fire is an unfortunate realty with most plants. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades. | |

One thing I'd like to point out is that I think Mummy Rot should only affect living creatures. | | Trade History: Maxminis: Skyscraper (1), War Duke (1), tomas (1), MarioCleanstuff (1), Vrecknidj (1), Kat_Dawg33 (p) Hordelings: ilarue (1), visage (1), deutscheben (1), The Blue Monotony (1), SpikedChainDave (1) Gleemax: greymouse (1), rockfrd (1), C_Lee_Roach (1), fuzzy1313 (1), villiam (1), iuchiban (1), Dagaron (1).

The mummy is overcosted and has low life, although high AC helps by some. But nice tries:) | | 2007 & 2008 Czech Republic Champion 2008 Czech Republic's Player of the Year

| Thanks for the Woodland Stride idea. I knew I would forget something. It's been my husband and I making them, and we can't think of everything.
We just used Wizards Mummy Rot from the last set. We had come up with our own, but used theirs in the end for consistency.
As far as the cost being right, I'd like to see me get it right, and Wizards get it right. I wish I knew how they did it. Have you noticed the Werewolf Champion? The power creep is becoming comical.
Here's two more: (EDITED: Mina got some improvements, added Conceal 6 on Ryld)

| Thanks for posting these cards. I've been talking with some of the nice folks who post on hordeling.com about getting a team together to create and post 3.5 stats replicating the back of the current DDM cards for new minis starting with Dungeons of Dread. The quality of these cards gives me hope that we can present the information for 3.5e bitterenders in a way that is both useful and nice to look at. Thanks again!

| HEY GREAT JOB!
MINA: I think that is funny! a bit weak... mina has heavy powerful spells .... to bring demons, kill units and change world... maybe mina is very weak for his cost, even considering a great spell caster his spell selection is poor.
RYLD: Looks AWSOME! .... well constructed, good balanced cost good hitting options.... but you miss his Dispel magic.

My reasoning is that unoffical skirmish stuff should have a home in skirmish, (eg rock bottom pricing). But agree its feels a bit more general which is why I left it there for a while, so people will know where it will move too.

PS angelfiend
I like them. The treant might be well useable like that.
I probably still wouldnt play the Mummy lord, costs too much for a techy type beater with one attack imo. Death touch is nice, but its doing 35-45 damage on a hit and would be better finnishing things by melee with deathknell.
Mina starts with such a handicap with her starting stats , but like the imporved deathkiss and imposing presence is a good ability.
Ryld looks like a beast to play but not over powered. | | "Mutton yesterday, mutton today, and blimey, if it don't look like mutton again tomorrer." | How much more life would you give the Mummy Lord and Mina for their cost? I agree they need something. I was thinking 20 more for each. I'm pretty proud of what we came up with for Obould, but you know, I love R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt novels. (EDIT: Added Willing to Follow Obould within the Chosen of Gruumsh ability)

Is just that your stats cards looks underpowered compared to Tier 1 Epics, is just a comment dont take too serious, I really apreciate your job and I will test you cards.
Check Tier 1 Epic stats and epic warbands, I recomend to re-adjust the stat cards.... maybe DDM palyers community will play it at last...

| | Just had a look at the epic Centaur Hero. I like the fact that he's a commander now - makes sense since he's a hero among Centaurs. I also like the additions of forceful kick and stunning kick. 25 extra damage on the powerful charge might be a bit much though. Another thing that I always thought the Centaur Hero should have (along with the Werewolf Lord) is melee reach 2. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades. | |

| Remember that with a large base, it will be difficult to set up a charge from the Centaur Hero in the first place. A decent player won't give the CH player the opportunity to get that charge, so I doubt it would make much of a difference. Epic Kord costs less than the CH, and he does more damage than the CH. Just my two cents. :) | | Trade History: Maxminis: Skyscraper (1), War Duke (1), tomas (1), MarioCleanstuff (1), Vrecknidj (1), Kat_Dawg33 (p) Hordelings: ilarue (1), visage (1), deutscheben (1), The Blue Monotony (1), SpikedChainDave (1) Gleemax: greymouse (1), rockfrd (1), C_Lee_Roach (1), fuzzy1313 (1), villiam (1), iuchiban (1), Dagaron (1). | |

For Ryoga:
My life is not centered around Tier 1. I want to make casually playable things, so while I appreciate that many people may share your interest in Tier 1 epic cards, that is not my focus. I like the game as a whole and I like all my minis. I don't necessarily want to make some epics that can combat the few pieces that rule in tournaments. They're unofficial anyway, so it's not like my Mummy Lord not being Tier 1 is a problem, it obviously is officially Tier Zero.
For everyone:
Thanks for your input. I changed a few things and reposted the updated cards, noting where I have changed them.

| Great work angelfiend!
I only play friendly games, so we'll print up these cards and use them as if they were official. Everyone at the FLGS loved them. On a side note: I couldn't care less about competitive play or Tier X pieces, but I think that the Sword Archon lacks some beef and that the Aspect of Demogorgon is a bit overcosted to make them playable even in our non-competitive environment (I´ve been known to use the epic Lord of Blades and the epic Aspect of Nerull, though...just for fun).
Keep up the goodness :D
P.D.: I would love and praise an epic Ulmo and an epic Ghaele Eladrin, if you have them scheduled for your project.

Fun is always nice, and I really apreciate your job... but I prefer dont put that "THANKS FOR SHARING" tipical posts and write my opinion. Your stat cards was really fun, but Im surpriced because people that do FAN EPIC stats cards do overpowered units, I dotn find that in your cards.
I think that we can show to WoTC how leads if we show good examples of design, statistical analisys and playtest.... and this is an good example or begin for that. Why WoTC make very weak Aspect of Lolth? Because they want to thrash old minis forcing the players to buy new ones.
Taking consideration of your point of view of DDM, I think that is very nice that you get fun playing and making stats. Thanks again, I dont have any will to offend.

| Some more ideas:
I really like what you did with King Obould and the Chosen of Gruumsh SA, so here's a little suggestion:
Chosen of Gruumsh (CE commanders whose names contain Gruumsh are legal in your warband and gain Willing to Follow. This ability supersedes Domineering)
That would make for much more fun and sinergetic warbands, like:
Epic Obould Eye of Gruumsh x 5 Cleric of Gruumsh
