| A few weeks ago my boss called to tell me that they're going to restructure the D&D brand management team. I didn't want to believe it and maintained blissful denial for two weeks. When I returned to the office today I found that the re-org is a reality. The good news is I still have a job. The bad news is I am leaving DDM. As far as I know it's only the brand team that's changing and Ian and Shoe still hold their same positions. I'll still be working on D&D in a brand management function, and I'm very thankful to remain a part of a brand I so strongly believe in. I'm not sure if I can say what exactly I'll be doing in my new position, but I can tell you that it'll be behind the scenes and I'll have some creative license. (I'll never be as good as Shoe when it comes to riddles). The DDM community has been awesome to me. I've made a lot of friends here and have thoroughly enjoyed the interactions...even the "challenging" ones! I will continue to participate in the internal DDM league at WotC so you just might see some more articles up on the WotC website describing my weekly beatings. I'm extending deep-felt gratitude for the experiences with everyone on the boards. It's been fun. It's been interesting. It's been a learning experience. It's been freakin' cool. So...for now anyway... So long and thanks for all the fish! | |

           I'm sad to see you go... But, I'm hopeful for your future :) Congrats on the new job!!  All that you have done has been much appreciated. It's been really nice to have a WotC voice on these boards. It's a shame we won't be hearing the sweet sound of it anytime soon :( But hey, being behind the scenes means you can 'lurk' now more than evaa!
