| Does anyone think we will see a November & Beyond Preview anytime soon?
I'm ready for a peek at the next set already!

| | I would be surprised if it wont be more Desert of Desolation figures. That is how they usually roll. | | | |

| I highly doubt that we'll be seeing preview minis for the next set just yet. Dungeons of Dread doesn't come out until April from memory. Thats 4-5 months away. I doubt that the minis would even be made just yet. Having said that, I have absolutely no idea what sort of lead times they have on their minis. Having said that, I have absolutely no idea what sort of lead times they have on their minis. Lidda pulled production on WotDQ for quality assurance right around 3 1/2 months prior to the set release (right after the endless War Drums quality complaints). That would indicate that minis go into production around 4-6 months prior to their release date. I would imagine that production probably begins 6 months out and painting begins around 4 months out. Just hazarding a guess based on what little we know
Regardless, I sincerely doubt we'll see minis previewed from the new set until the end of December. Even then with DoDr being pushed back a month (previous Q1 releases have been in March) we may not see any new minis previewed until the end of January. If you factor in the underwhelming volume of DoDe previews (six with lots of repeats) there may be nothing previewed until February

| Pardon my ignorance (I only started collecting at the end of last year), but what were the complaints made about the War Drums minis? Bad painting? Bad sculpts? | | Bad paint jobs. They were a big step bellow the minatures in the Underdark set. | | Pathetic Earthlings. | War drums. The set of the fabled frost dwarf, with blue face, blue hands, blue beard, blue axe and everything else silvery gray... The fact that it was a starter set, with many classic usual done and redone minis that many of us already had in large quantity didn't help, too. But it had an UNCOMMON hill giant, giving us hope of uncommon frost and fire ones for years to come... | | Vindicated Champion of the PSEUDODRAGON (Unhappy) vindicated champion of the DRYAD Against the giants called shot : huge cloud giant female Demonweb called shot : ghost | |
