Voted for the Gold Champion, Rakshasa, and Orc Champion.
The dragons were a lot tougher. The Green Dragon was a slam dunk for me, one of my all time favorites. Went with the Brass Dragon and Large Blue as well. | | | |

I always try to send through delivery confirmation, and I expect the same. It's only 55 cents extra, so it's just a little more than a pay phone call, so just do it for the Kai.  I prefer to trade with people in the US and Canada, sorry everyone else.

The champion's vote was fairly easy to me since I don't have more than 5 of those minis. I know this sound very selfish, but what are the chances to ever get an orc champion for me? Therefore I vote for those minis I can actually use. Wish I could find a reasonable prices King Snurre...
Urthok, Inspiring Marshal and Xen'd.... oh well, I voted for King Snurre and keep my hopes up to complete my collection of "uniques"...
The dragon's vote... Large Copper Dragon is easily the best looking dragon so far. The Green Dragon was the first rare I ever pulled. Now the tough part. Large Blue looks great, but technicaly I don't have him (only the D&D basic game version which is not legal iirc).
Gold Dragon looks great as well. I love Silver Dragons, but the medium doesn't look to good in sculpt. The black dragon looks good as well, but I can't see any more black dragons on the table.

If I were a singles trader with a huge stock of an unsaleable rare (Bearded devil perhaps) I'd certainly want players to vote for that. | | | |

I don't think this would kill the DDM skirmish game. People that get involved competitively in a CCG or CMG:
a) know that there will be more money involved (then chess or Monopoly)
b) (because of a)) generally have more disposable income for things like games
You only need to look at the numbers of minis some of the new players are purchasing. Anyone who can buy 2-3 cases with every new set should readily be able to update his/her collection with the competitive rares that make the 60 all stars. Remember, not all 60 of the all stars will have the dominant status things like the Ogre Ravager, Orc Champion, Couatl, LBD, LShD have had in the past. A few will rise to the top, so I'm guessing at most, one would have to trade for or purchase 5-10 of the 60 all stars in order to be competitive. | |
