| So, in a light hearted manner, I think we should have a called shot for DDM 2 errata.Â
Seeing how we get the the new rules well ahead of time, we may possibily get errata when it is released in print with Dungeons of Dread.
Probably better to do words than pages (roughly 350 words to a page) to give more of a range.

Seeing as how Guy was consistently ignored when he brought up problems with wording by the current regime, I doubt very seriously that they'll fix anything ahead of time. I'm going with 3,650. | | Hey Woman, Hey Woman!! Listen here. Since your ol' man ain't got no heart, maybe you'd like to see a real man. I'll go for a whopping 3967 words (who's gonna count them if the errata are pdf only?).

| I'm confused?
Aren't they releasing the rules to us so far ahead of time so that they can make changes before the actual release?
It was my understanding that the actual release of Dungeons of Dread will have changes based on what we find between the "early release" time and the actual release.
If above is the case, I don't think they'll have more than a page maybe two tops of errata.. so I'd say something like 500 words. | | Champion of Dagaronzie, Green Dragon DDM Have/Want List DDM Trade History & Feedback

| @Dagaron: I hope that is true, (though no officially stated afaik) and I'm sure that releasing the rules early will make for stronger rules knowglede once DoD2 is out. I guess I expect the new rule book to be printed and possibly packed into boxes by the time we get the early release, and any changes will either be an insert, or online corrections.
The guesses of 500 would be close to normal errata found in a booster insert. The few thousand pages would be like an artilce of more on the new rules to clarify, like with Night Below. The 15 thousand guess is more like the mangus opus of the Guy lead errata booklet.
~
IMO too its better to get these rules early and have errata early if needed :|

And I hope they change the rules on insubstantial.
Is that the word count of the errata of the errata or a call for recounting the original word count? (I just copied and pasted into word before, so _may_ be erranous)

| please don't tell me you wanna go back to the old ' insubstantial'Â rules:-). Unless you have that special D20 that rolls ABOVE 11 on an incorporeal roll.
I think insubstantial works fine the way it does now. Not a single problem I can think of. | | Proud member of the Bearded Devils

| I didn't say it had a problem. I said I'd like it changed back, 'cause i don't like how it now works.
You might as well just give double HPs to the mini as it stands. The chance of sometimes getting more than a double HPs from it, or less than double HPs, was the fun in picking those creatures. Sure, its easier to design or warband build when you have definite numbers to crunch instead of probabilities, but I like variance in game play.
I didn't think it was too hard, bad or had problems as it was. | | "Mutton yesterday, mutton today, and blimey, if it don't look like mutton again tomorrer." | I like the old incorporeal better than the current insubstantial. It feels better to have a 50% miss chance, than doing half damage.
Incorporeal: I see a ghost, hit it, my weapon goes right through. Insubstantial: I see a ghost, hit it, my weapon hurts it, but not as much as I expected.
I think insubstantial is the new Damage Reduction if you see it from this point. Imagine trying to damage an insubstantial creature when enervated, hardly possible.
I agree with Bert, if you wanna give a creature double hp, do so, and don't beat about the bush.

I disagree, the potential synergy between Incorporeal & Healing would be totally lost if you just gave them double hit points.
