| So, wait, giving a card out to people who are going to a D&D Con is a bad idea? It's a great idea. If you can't make it, you'll still be able to get one later, you just get it a little bit early if you're headed to DDXP. Seems like a great idea, both from a business/marketing standpoint, as well as a consumer standpoint.

Giving it to people going to a Con is a tried and true great idea. Giving it only to folks who stay in a certain hotel is terrible. | |

| That's debatable. The Hotel may be sponsoring this, not WotC. I know GenCon '06 had special promo room keys. Probably the hotel's doing.
