I hate the new Large Green design, I see alot of other folks feel the same way. I'm pretty much wondering how many of you all feel the same way. So, please, let me know if you love it or hate it. (Specifically the sculpt and design) | |

| After 30 years the Green Dragon becomes something unrecognizable. For decades it has been possible to identify most dragon types (at least the evil ones) without even seeing their color but now this imposter comes along and ruins everything.

BUt even without the smile... the pose looks like a cat that try to scare a foe by putting all its fur in spike !!! :-O

I wasn't a fan of the Large Green Dragon from DQ simply because it's colour contrast too greatly with the Aberrations one (Someone will jump out, I'm sure, with: "BUT BUT BUT!!! The hue of more mature dragons deepens! It's true!"). I'm not a fan of this green dragon kinda for the same reason; colour is, I dunno... wrong. There is also the fact that it's an Orc Mauler and the base is going to annoy many of us :)
WoTC where on earth would we be without your mighty... 10... or so years of experience with D&D?? Maybe kicking 2nd Ed. Orc Mauler ass instead of bitching on the internet about STUPID corporate decissions. Oh and thanks for making Snowball available to us, the hardcore investors :| Merry Xmas, asshats! | |

Don't know iof you noticed but the new boosters are a different size, shorter and wider.

I agree, money does not have much to do with changing the Large Green Dragon. Why did they re-do the Large Black Dragon? A change that I very much like. It is just something that was inevitable. Hopefully they will make the new Large Green as playable as the Large Black (or the new Large Copper for that matter).Â
As to changing to D&D 4.0 and DDM 2.0. money has a lot to do with it along with improving what are already great games. For D&D think about all of those new book sales.  Second, hopefully by changing / revising to D&D and DDM it will grow the game and the number of players and thereby generate more $. They are a company and have to generate profits somehow.Â
