The release date for DDR is April 4th, that's 4 months away. Much further away than the standard 10 week previews allows for. I'd expect we'd start seeing previews around January 31st (Thursday), hopefully a little sooner. | |

| My complaint isn't really with the special benefits, it's actually admirable WoTC look after their staff like that. It lies more with...
"Let's make the best miniature in the galaxy, tease the greater community with it and make sure they understand they can never have one! Mooha! Any staff putting their copy on eBay will be fired. Also Mooha!"

| I'm not a big fan of decisions WotC has mande lately...but the Snowball things didnt bother me. It was a preview of the new beholder as far as I was concerned. It was just painted funny. Making it out of clear blue plastic was cute as a gag, but for RPG purposes kind of worthless (unless you wanted a Beholder Ghost maybe). If given one I'd probably sell it. And if not allowed to Id sigh that more worthless clutter will take up room in my home. Id much rather have the real Beholder in April. | |

| I could care less about Snowball, too. A picture is all I ever want to see of it. It's more of a fun joke to me than something I would actually want.
Well, putting off the set until April just gives me a chance to spend money on other things that are more important. I don't really mind that either.
I have grown tired of expecting them to do anything with previews, they have been so far off schedule with such regularity, that it feels useless complaining about. What I mean is that I feel so ignored by WotC lately that delayed previews are just another piece of a pile of disregard. I have already decided not to buy 4th edition. I don't think I am abandoning buying minis in the near future. | |
