| I was hoping something other than the Forge Priest would make it, even though I knew it would. Oh well.
I'm happy the Aspect of Moradin made it. I've always liked the Aspect concept, I hope we get more in the new edition.
I'm okay with the Shadowdancer. The Elf Warmage was a little surprising but I can live with it.

| Ok, I don't get the voting going on at all. Now I trully believe wotc is messing with the voting process. The Warmage? ... oh, the ELF warmage. Well, ok, I guess that'll fit the giant wood elf types.
Wait, why is Aspect of Moradin a humanoid type? | | Greyhaze's DDM Spoilers Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger. Wait, why is Aspect of Moradin a humanoid type? I agree. Aspect of Moradin? When did he become a Heroic Humanoid. Must be in anticipation of size creep and the new miniature sizes where he becomes a large Dwarf.Â

| I just don't get it. Why FGFP? He was a great playable mini in DDM 1.0. GoL Frost Giant is a cooler looking mini! Why not vote to make a playable Frost Giant in 2.0??? Bogus...

Exactly how I feel. The regular Fire Giant from GoL is even nicer than the FGFP. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades.

| Who won on Giants FGFP or Giant Elf Warmage???
I just waiting for another miniature instead of the Elf Warmage, but I'm still ok even when there are 2 uncommons in this election. | | Againts the Giants Called Shot: Cattie Bri. | Why are people upset about the heroic humanoids? The results are
exactly what the all stars needed. What were you hoping for? The last
thing we need is more titan figures.
Warmage was needed very badly in a set that is mostly high cost mages
so far. Finally we get a medium cost blaster mage into the all stars.
Shadowdancer gives us a medium cost finesse piece which was also missing from the all stars so far.
The only dud really is aspect of moradin. Maybe they'll give him some nice stats to be a good dwarf champion though.
Finally we get some all stars that aren't filled with titan creatures
and people are upset? We have enough 70+ point creatures in the set,
especially with 10 activations in 2.0.

| While I understand and even agree a bit with the sentiment that the Frost Giant or Fire Giant ought to have a spot in the All Stars, I'm not surprised that the ForgePriest won. More people have ForgePriests than Frost or Fire Giants, it being from a far newer set. I wouldn't vote for a mini that I don't own, would you? And personally I do really love the look of the Forgepriest, despite the many naysayers that say otherwise.

| Same reason here, the two other giant maybe nicer and can have a better «lifting» of stats ... but i don't own them... :(
must be the case for a lot of voter...
And i agree with TheChuck... it is not so bad of a scuplt either ! ;-)

| I don't like how WotC has been grouping the minis for our votes. I would have preferred something else (though I don't have any suggestions).
Other than that, I'll take what I get.

| The fire giant and frost giant didn't have a chance at winning the giant poll despite having really good sculpts. The problem is that people don't like voting for mini's they don't own (myself included). Both these figures are pretty old and buying one of them as a single is currently really pricey and the stats are poor. I'm sure most of the sales on ebay are going to RPGers so not many (new) skirmish players have this mini. I started playing after that set was released and I've bought a lot of older mini's off ebay but I stayed clear of those two giants because $30+ is not worth it for a mini with crap skirmish stats.
FGFP on the other hand is pretty cheap and from a newer set. It was pretty obvious that he'd win from that poll before we even saw the results.

| Hi Everyone,
For those that have complained that the Allstars should be for skirmish only, which btw I agree, the FGFP is a great skirmish piece, so that pick is an A+ in my book. From a pure aesthetic point of view, the Warmage is a beauty. One of the best looking humanoid sculpts throughout the DDM line. The Aspect of Moradin should have been in a separate aspects grouping. I never really cared for the Shadowdancer fig, though her stats are nice.
Thats my opinion, how about yours!

I don't like the FGFP winning the giants contest. Fire Giant or Frost Giant would have been much nicer.

Hi Thenameless,
From an RPG or collectors point of view, the Frost Giant would be my pick. But for Skirmish the FGFP is just a sweet piece.
But I understand your sentiment completely.

Later,
Mazra It's great in DDM 1.0, nobody here knows what his stats will be in 2.0! So it's lame to vote for the FGFP based on his current Skirmish stats,
D.

Hi Dordledum,
No offense taken, but I hope you don't take offense to the comment, of "Who made you the foremost authority on what should be in the all-stars set?"
The reality is simple. The FGFP received the most votes. It won!
Thanks,
Mazra
P. S. I typically vote for the mini which has the greatest Ebay resale value, and for no other reason than the logical assumption that a mini that has the greatest resale value is the more popular mini and thus deserving of being an Allstar. I am certain that everyone has their own unique criteria, and no one, including you, has the definitive answers to what should be included. BTW- I really like the FGFP as the choice, but my vote was for the Frost Giant. :)

| Absolutely no offense taken on my part either, still don't understand why people would vote for it. There are much better Giant sculpts out there.
