| From first glance, everything is "neutral".
EXCEPT for devils, demons and the angel. they are listed as good or evil.
everything else doesn't have an alignment.
Opens up a whole new can of worms...
Merc Genral specifies a cohort. Human, Elf, or dwarf.
A guardian Mummy can be in a team with a dwarf maul fighter and other "civilized" (blue) creatures.
The Nightmare can also be with civilized (blue) creatures. HOWEVER, a nightmare can only have an undead as a mount.
Bruenor is borderlands (red). AND he doesn't like following Drizzt anymore. He's martial too. whatever that means. | | May you find peace and happiness at the hand of Hextor.

| mmm... most of the previously fearless creatures have extra hitpoints, nice way to resolve that.
have to rethink my whole picture of the set tough, e.g. which is good for skirmish and which is not.

| Bleh. The Baron has been majorly nerfed. Lost 15 hp, and
goes from 45 damage on two hits to 25 damage -- and that's only twice
in a battle!
So much for THAT idea...

The HP loss is pretty awful, but the damage loss isn't too bad. Most minis do less damage now. Also his Champion Effects are much more useful than his commander effect ever was and his AC is decent. | | I am not gone.

| The Baron can do 30 damage on 2 attacks not 25. Â It can do an immediate +18 attack to do an extra 10 damage when it hits with its attack, and it gains +5 damage when bloodied.
If you compare the it against the other Champions the Baron is the best due to its champion abilities and Bruenor is the best when it comes to being a tank

10. 25 points in a round, or 35 points when he's half-dead, which
takes less than it used to.Â
I'll try him out, but he's not nearly as attractive as he was.

| Looks to me like the G-Cube needs some clarification.
Its Engulf ability is a melee attack that only affects helpless creatures. There's no attack roll, which implies that they figured in the auto-crit involved with melee attacks against helpless foes, but it doesn't state not to double the 30 damage. Since it doesn't say not to, I guess we're supposed to assume that we should (given that the game is exceptions-based), but I'd still like some clarification for this.
EDIT: Looks to me like this and a lot more has already been caught elsewhere. Oh well. | | Completed trades: Brenigin, desiderata, HockeyFan, MikeyChraal, Raland, GuJiaXian

| Why did the Sahugin Baron get nerfed so bad? Lost 15 HP, Champion Rating down to a 3 from a 5, with a Claw Rake can do 25 damage in a round whereas before he could possibly do 45.Â
Compare to the Merc General at same cost as he seems have done ok - Champion Rating stays the same (4), lost his Rider extra att bonus and damage.Â
I guess I do not get how the SB went from Champion 5 to 3 and the Merc General went from Champion 4 to 4.Â

| | The Mercenary General appears to be the exception rather than the rule for Champion Ratings. Almost all of the other pieces got a decrease in Champion Ratings. I suspect, that Champion Ratings are probably going to be low across to board. The days of frequent ratings in the 5-7 range are a thing of the past. I don't mind this at all. | | I am not gone. | |

I don't mind this at all. Given the change to initiative, there's not much need for such high variation. As a matter of fact, it would please me most if the VAST MAJORITY of Champion Ratings were 3 and 4. This would amount to those playing Champion 3 bands acknowledging that their bands are built to be more robust on non-chosen maps and better able to handle the lost initiative.
Further, the new activation cycle, i.e. 1-2-2-2... means that the advantage, during play, of either passing the first phase or taking the first phase is substantially reduced.
It sure got tiresome facing Ryld and three Black Dragons, and having Ryld's primary role be the +8.
