| Based on the last couple of sets, I really don't place much in the set name.
For example, how many Drow did the Night Below set have? 1 How many Drow were in Deserts of Desolation? 3 That makes a whole lot of sense......errrrr......wait a minute, no it doesn't.
I just think of the set names as a name and nothing more now.

| | I'd agree with Olaf. Set names seem to have little to do with set content. Still though, I'm hoping that with Against the Giants we at least get some of the giants we are currently missing...male storm giant, female cloud giant, etc... Demonweb hopefully will have some nice underdark stuff but I'll not hold my breath for either one. | |

| | The name demonweb definitely does not interest me. Blood War had too many demon/devil types and wasn't that long ago. | | "Look to God and live." Alma 37:47 Vindicated Champ of Hippogriff (Arcadian Hippogriff) and Uncommon Horse | |

| Demonweb. Hmm, interesting. More Drwo, Spiders, and icky creatures.Â
Could be ok, might not be. It will keep my interest through GenCon.Â

Given the changes that have been revealed for 4E giants, I think "filling in holes" is the least of our concerns, especially since the larger changes are in the huge version of the giants.

| Well, Against the Giants was a 1e module, Queen of the Demonweb Pits was a 1e module; I wonder if WotC will be bringing back those modules, and I wonder if the miniatures in the sets will correspond so that someone could get the minis for the module by buying from the similarly-named set.
Just a thought.

| | That's a amazing idea Dave chances of it happening prob slim why because it's awesome idea. (make money from both rpg'ers from AD&D and 4th) Nah that would make too much sense. | | Champion of the Peryton Vindicated Champion : Pit Fiend, Devourer DW: Duergar Priest RPG Only!!!! Ahh, I haven't had time to keep up with the 4e news a whole lot. I haven't read anything on the giants, though I did some paging through a copy of the Races and Classes. I'll have to check it out...hopefully they're not doing too much damage to the Giants. I really like using them as monsters. | |

| Bah, it's just part of the new "block" strategy
Which, I actually like. The more restrictive the pool, the more skill required, IMHO. Also, it helps with Power creep.

Dave I'm not sure at all WotC is bringing back these modules. It seems they are trying to bring a new generation to D&D, and not to cater to older 1E grognards like me, so why use them ? Maybe because the name sounds kewl...
