I like em medium well.Â
As for the Ice Archon, a bit more expensive than its Fire cousin. Almost titan like in cost.Â
Looks like a solid beater, but for 66 points? And none of the DDM 1.0 Elemental Immunities (ie flanking, etc...).Â

| I dont' see it being better then the osyluth w/out synergy, but then there are (will be more) opportunities for the osy to have nice synergies too.

| | Each hit slows the enemy to Speed 2, also? Wow, that seems powerful in itself, even without it's Icy Whallop! | | Trade History: Maxminis: Skyscraper (1), War Duke (1), tomas (1), MarioCleanstuff (1), Vrecknidj (1), Kat_Dawg33 (p) Hordelings: ilarue (1), visage (1), deutscheben (1), The Blue Monotony (1), SpikedChainDave (1) Gleemax: greymouse (1), rockfrd (1), C_Lee_Roach (1), fuzzy1313 (1), villiam (1), iuchiban (1), Dagaron (1). | |

| | Seeing how Angel of V has become such a prominent choice, I believe a faster medium piece with the same AC and only 5 hp lower will surpass the AoV. It has just as good of abilities and it costs less. I like it alot. Maybe this is common knowledge but is the IA coming out in Dungeons of Dread? | | VENDELPHIAN CHAMPION OF ELDEVERE

| Well it does not have fly, does not have stun capabilities and cannot jump next to someone - all that for 8 fewer points. Similar AC, AB, Damage. The Angel's problem is 74 points doing 20 damage a round. However, the Ice Archon could be paired with an astral stalker and its slow effect to allow better hitting with icy whallop, though going from +19 to +23 might not be huge difference - depends on who you are attacking.
The 8 fewer points might give a better chance for them to be used in a pair. Teaming up on one piece to hit, slow and then hit with better AB.
Personally I would have preferred to see an increase to damage instead of to-hit. | | Champs 2007 Top 16, Team Amish Class of 2007 Seeking Northern NJ DDM'ers - "There can be only one" (I hope not) Champion of the Doppleganger

| Its not really accurate to compare the AoV to the Ice Archon because they are in diffrent locations, if the Ice Archon was also Civilization then there may be room for comparison
Also in a Wilderness Warband would you rather use 1 Ice Archon or 2 Fire Archons?
