| D&D Icons: Gargantuan Orcus (D&D Miniatures Product) (Unknown Binding)
Amazon is still showing a release date of March 18th. Has anyone heard if this is going to still be released or not?

| | I won't get one if they make it. I am actually going to stop collecting every mini from each set. As I don't want any devils/demons, I will be trading/selling the ones I have. And I certainly don't want an icon devil/demon, even if it's made with high quality. | | "Look to God and live." Alma 37:47 Vindicated Champ of Hippogriff (Arcadian Hippogriff) and Uncommon Horse | |

| It's still in my amazon pre-order listing. But I thought it was officially stated that it wouldn't be released? Wasn't it just being shown off at a convention and they weren't actually going to sell it since there didn't seem to be much interest in it?
I still want it. Out of all of the Icons, that was the only one that I saw and though, "Dang, I gotta get that thing!"
Even if we never use it, it's still awesome looking. Much better looking than any of the dragons we've had.

I noticed that too. I have a couple of friends that are big fans of devils and demons, and they would get it for sure. I'm neither here nor there on Orcus, but I was impressed with the prototype at GenCon. I'm basing my decision on the look of the mini - if we can call it a mini. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades.

Indeed interesting, I'm in the group of disliking it.
Not for the choice of mini (a gargantuan demon lord, very cool), I don't like the execution. In my mind Orcus simply looks different: More like the Archfiends mini, less like the artwork in the miniatures handbook.
And other Demon lords would make better Icons imho: Dagon, Graz'zt, Juiblex, Malcanteth, Yeenoghu, Zuggtmoy, to name a few.

I prefer my beer belly one from Archfiends. I just don't see any use for a gargantuan size demon/devil thing. | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor

| The funny thing is that no one seems to have bothered letting Amazon know one way or the other if this is getting released
I've heard that it was put on hold indefinately due to a lack of interest from the buying public. Yet I just received an email from Amazon yesterday letting me know that it is soon to be released and that I should hurry and take advantage of the low pre-order pricing. -lol
