| | Will the April set of Dungeons of Dread include cards that have the full 4th edition D&D stats for each creature? Has that been confirmed? | | | |

| | Yes. Someone at Hordelings posted scans of the RPG side of the cards. | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor | |

| I have about 50% of the set and I can confirm that the backs of the cards contain full 4th edition stats (well, "full" to the extent that they may be converted a little, for all I know, to fit on the back of a card).

I wonder how solid those stats are (and by solid I mean are in the rule book and won't be changed). | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor

Dave I wonder how solid those stats are (and by solid I mean are in the rule book and won't be changed). I was told by a couple of playtesters they are still doing last minute tweaks on the rule book, 99.5% of the stuff is set but they are going to look at a couple of things based on the XP experiences. This has been ongoing, one tester was surprised at the new way crits worked because that wasn't the way he playtested it a few months ago.
Crits always hit but do max damage but only if you would otherwise hit the AC. If ,for example, a goblin with a +3 to hit bonus runs up and hits your AC 25 dwarf with a nat 20 then it hits but only does regular damage not max damage but if that same goblin ran up and hit your AC20 warlock with the same nat 20 then he does max damage.

Good question. By now, I imagine the rulebook is off to the printer, so they can't change too much...

True, but what changes did they make to the rulebook that didn't make it into the DoD2 cards?
(btw - I really don't think it's a big deal. I am just interested to see what is different to get an idea of the WotC thought process.) | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor

| When Shoe was interviewed for the Gamer Radio Zero videocast, he said that most of the RPG stats should be close to the final stats. It was episode #28 (sorry, I don't have time to download it and get his exact words...).
