...only argument I have against the "we have enough mind flayers" is that I hope they make a decent UC mind flayer - every one of them has been a rare so far... Agree

A new Myconid
Shrieker
Violet Fungus
Phantom fungus
I'd also love to see a Mimic, Green Slime, Black Pudding, and Rust Monster too.
I'll add my voice to the growing chorus in support of all of these!
I'd much rather shake a stick at these than yet more mind flayers. Illithids are great, but along with drow, constructs and tree people, I think we've had too many already. | |

From the Demonweb set, it'd be nice to get some of the overlooked creatures from the underdark - cave fishers, grey ooze or black pudding, lurker above, cloaker, etc...

He may be referring to the Black Woods Dryad, and the Wizend Elder Watcher (???...the one from DQ anyways) perhaps?
I wouldn't mind seeing a large-version Treant in an upcomming set myself. | |
