Here you'll find DDM2 minis stats converted to DDM1.

I'll post directly the cards as they are ready.
I'll try to make stat cards for the "new" minis, but I must warn the ones that follow this thread that, mainly due to time restrictions, homage to the glorious old days when Medusas were costed at 62 points and (most of all) to make the process less ink cartridge-consuming, the stat cards will sport an "vintage" look, that is they'll be in B&W with no image. : ) After all, the important thing is to have something to play with, right?
Keep looking from time to time at the list: I'll keep a record of what's been converted or not. Enjoy!

Nice. I would change the drive attack to not grant bonus damage but to let a creature the enemy is moved near to to make AOO for free.

Me and my mates were thinking about converting 2.0 cards into 1.0 in order to continue playing old rules (only in our meeting point since there are no official tournaments here).But this idea was discarded very fast because we cannot force unknown people to play with our converted cards.But,only for curirous people,here is one of the cards:

Drow wand mage 50 points. CE
Speed: 6
HP: 30.
Commander 3.
CFX: enemies get save -2 , allies get save +2.
Level: 10.
AC: 18
Melee: +6 (5).

Spells: Meteor Swarm (two casts).

I'll put a link in the codex for this thread, but I think you would be more successful with a wiki type format.

Yeah, my gamer buddies and I have thought about doing the same thing. I have tried converting a few minis, and I want to keep them the same pointcost as their DDM 2.0 version, and it seems hard to do so while preserving flavor and relative power level.

During the first few previews, I did rough conversions of the minis I liked, and ignored the ones I did not. As I saw more about the set, I lost more and more interest, and eventually gave up on the idea. I intensely dislike most of the monster(ous) minis in the set with a few exceptions, but the PC/villain minis in general look pretty good.

4th Edition totally killed my interest in skirmish, 2.0 or otherwise.

Another option would be to take advantage of the same named minis. IE use the vrock from DuD with a copy of the stat card for the AF Vrock etc.

You could even use ones with similar names, ie fire giant raider for fire giant with miniumal work.

From experience I say going to one a week. You usually get about three going in the forums at a time which is pretty acceptable.

Greyhaze was nice enough to support a running list and sig that stuff to get the word out!

I would go ahead and make it chaotic dwarves are legal in your warband. Not to much of a boost.
I would also drop the keen crit cmdfx (it's been done before)but keep it for the figure and add "adjecent allies make an AoO against pushed creatures".

two meteor swarms would be powerful but it isn't really the style of the piece at all. Give em unlimited uses of a burst 1 for 15 save for 5 at dc 16-17 and a cone of cold and call it good. More life is obviously needed and mirror image would extend those hp a bit too.

I've been awfully busy as of late, and I have been able to grab only a handful of DoDR minis. More conversions are on the way (starting from the five minis found in the new Starter Set). In the meantime, I've added Halfling Paladin to the first post (from now on, I'll update the first post with new creatures as soon as I convert them).

I wouldn't be bothered by the point cost on base.
Not like it isnt for informal competitions anyhow.

Does anybody want to transfer the rpg-stats from 4.0 to 3.5???.... I would do it by myself, but my experience to the rules is not so good to do this transfer 100% in the right way.

Many of us had the same idea. We've started with the Dwarf Warlord as well. This is what I proposed in another forums:

I also think that iluvxtina's Drow Wand Mage stats are terribly unbalanced. Any band without first turn AoE or shadowjump or something like that (or fire immunity) would be in severe trouble. Any band with any of the above may have an autowin by killing 1/4 of the band in the first turn.

Yep, I know it's called Oni but it's just the old Ogre Mage gone 4E (which in turn was based on the Oni :)). It's true that visually it's like an ogre on steroids so it could get a restat in the future, but I'm so fond of the old sculpt that the new one will surely be the last one on the list.

As for Halfling Paladin and "within 2 squares"... you got me, it's should read "within 6 squares". My bad, typing error (This time I wrote it correctly, it's 1 more than the original card). Updated ;)

I'll try to make stat cards for the "new" minis, but I must warn the ones that follow this thread that, mainly due to time restrictions and (most of all) to make the process less ink cartridge-consuming, the stat cards will sport an "old" look, that is they'll be in B&W with no image. : ) After all, the important thing is to have something to play with, right?

Another option would be to take advantage of the same named minis. IE use the vrock from DuD with a copy of the stat card for the AF Vrock etc.

You could even use ones with similar names, ie fire giant raider for fire giant with miniumal work.

Please note that changes were made to some creature's abilities: many DDM2/4E powers don't translate too well so they have been substituted (where necessary) with 3.5 equivalents or with new abilities. Dwarf Battlemaster, despite being a champion in DDM2, is not a commander. Two dwarf commanders in the same set are really too much. Enjoy!
