| Computer Aided Design, aka Computer Aided Drafting. No sculpting, just polygons on a screen | | The year: 1994. From out of space comes a runaway planet, hurtling between the Earth and the Moon, unleashing cosmic destruction! Man's civilization is cast in ruin! Two thousand years later, Earth is reborn... A strange new world rises from the old: a world of savagery, super science, and sorcery. But one man bursts his bonds to fight for justice! With his companions Ookla the Mok and Princess Ariel, he pits his strength, his courage, and his fabulous Sunsword against the forces of evil. He is Thundarr, the Barbarian!

| Posted By vanrulzz on 03/23/2008 8:20 PM look wraith, stop being negative, they actually can give us more good detail by saving time and money with the CAD technique.
I don't tell anyone to stop being positive
Though I have to admit, most of the negativity in my 2nd post came from the smarmy "I hate to break it to ya'" line.
If they can, then great, but their flagship mini for the technology looks like a dungheap. I've also seen post elsewhere from people who work in the field who think it's not going to work out well, so I'm not alone. | | The year: 1994. | Hi Wraith,
Keep it up my friend! It was complaining that convinced WotC to restat all the sets. Negativity has it place. And that place usually leads to improvements.
Cheers,

| If they can, then great, but their flagship mini for the technology looks like a dungheap. But keep in mind that Harbinger sculpts look terrible when compared to the sculpts from the last few sets. I'm betting the kinks will be worked out soon in CAD mini making. | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor | |

| For the base coat I use GW's Liche Purple, then I mix a little more Warlock Purple with it for each coat.

Personally, only the once. I was just happy to get out with my sanity intact.
Besides, Illithids puke is Grey, as in Grey matter.

| Now that is a whole new vision "mindflayer puke." I can see the party now...RUN AWAY! HE'S GOING TO BE SICK. *Then you hear screams and fully loaded adventurers clanking and running away up the corridor*
We have to come up with stats for the effects of "mindflayer puke." Any creature in the line-of-site must make a REF save (15) or be sickened (-2 on all dice rolls). Now we just have to come up with the effect of being puked on by a mindflayer. Stunned for two rounds could be a nasty effect. This would then give the Mind Flayer a better chance to suck your brains out. Do they still do that in 4.0?
Later,

| I'm unclear a MF would want to suck somone's brain out after that. I'd give them a day of bed rest first, maybe some soup too.
