|  ÂI’ve been getting some singles from the new Dungeons of Dread set and it looks like the dire wolf is the chase uncommon. I was thinking that the hook horror would have been the chase uncommon. I’m a RPGer and I have 1 Dire Wolf from GoL and 6 of the Vampire Dire Wolfs from Unhallowed. The new Dire Wolf is not really needed for me. I might get one just for the new pose. Does anybody know if there is any size creep with the new Dire Wolf to the older ones? | | Big Daddy Rob | |

| I'd say Dwarf Warlord is the chase one for skirmish, maybe also bulette. For RPG I think it's bulette, hook horror and wolf. ¨ I don't have the new wolf, so I don't know about any creeps. | | 2007 & 2008 Czech Republic Champion 2008 Czech Republic's Player of the Year

| I don't know, they already have a lot of wolves (both of the dire and non-dire variety)
I agree, the hook horror is a big one, and the dwarf warlord for skirmish. Honestly, I don't see a "chase" ione yet, not like the stirge, or greycloak ranger, to use past examples.

| | Nothing really chase for me, but the only one I want a bunch of (besides the Bugbear obviously0 is the Shade Knight. I think the Hook Horror would've been more of a chaser if it hadn't looked so goofy.....As it is, it just made me buckle down and try harder to pick up a few more Aberrations ones. | | The year: 1994. | | Yeah, have to agree, the Shade Knight and Bugbear were the "chasers" for me. Although a ton of bugbears holding severed heads is gonna look stupid. May have to saw off a bunch. I'll add in the Warrior Wight, not the best looking fig, but I like the warrior undeadness it brings to the game. | | Greyhaze's DDM Spoilers Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger. | | If the hook horror didn't look like 'an ice skating beetle from the Underdark' (a friends words), I would say that and the dire wolf. I much prefer the Vampire Dire Wolf, so I guess the chase uncommon for me is the howling hag or drow wand mage. | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor | |

| I don't really see any of them being chase rares. The Drow Wand Mage is a really nice mini though. It's really detailed and looks better than a lot of rares. I might've said it would be a chase if we didn't already have a ton of Drow. Maybe it'll be a chase for new collectors. The Howling Hag is pretty nice also.

| I cant really speak for skirmish since I dont play...
But for RPG the Dire Wolf isnt really chase because its the 3rd time it was sculpted. The Bugbear is cool but with the severed head I dont need many. The Dwarf Warlord is cool but do you need more than 1 for RPG? He is obviosly a leader among dwarves.
Id say the chase uncommons are the Howling Hag, Shade Knight, Warrior Wight and Drow Wand Mage. | | Champion of the Skulk Vindicated Champion of the Twig Blight

| Large sized Bulette is very useful for 4E per what they already said. An uncommon hag is exceptionaly useful for RPG and is a great fig for skirmish. shadow Demon can proxy for a lot of different things in RPG Shade Knight is cool looking and can proxy for a lot of stuff as well.
For me the howling hag is probably the most useful over all combined with looking good and being in demand. It's my chase uncommon pick | | Looking for someone to cosponser a midwest DDM event. let me know if your interested! Check out my brand new blog: http://bshugg.blogspot.com

| I'm done buying cases with this set. I basically got all the rares I needed in 1 case, a bundle of boosters, and a few on ebay.Â
I have plenty of extra Shadow Demons, Bulette, Drow Spiderguard, Hook Horror, and will post for trade sometime soon.Â
My chase Uncommons are the Howling Hag and Dire Wolf.Â

| I guess, if ti wasn't for all those previous large (dire/winter) wolves, it would've been a chase uncommon.
I can imagine that people want a lot of the Hook Horrors as well, it looks great. Just not for me, because I got four from Aberrations which I still prefer (they match quite good though).
