Hi everybody. This is an ongoing (no specific dates on updates) DDM Retrogaming project started with converting DD2 minis to the old system. I'll post some minor changes (let's call them unofficial erratas) to minis that try to improve and make some of them playable (or funny to add to your friendly games). I'd like to make custom cards, but for now I haven't got enough time to spend on that. Maybe in the future. This post contains many favourite "Craptacular rares" (including unfaous heroes like Wiz O' Turnips and Phoelarch): my goal is to make these creatures worthy of the star they bear on their bases. You'll also find a section devoted to "Equivalencies", many of whom come from DDM2 sets. Last but non least, a section called "Revised rules" deals with explosive issues like unified Spells and abilities for all creatures, summoners and mounts, to make them funny and viable (still in progress). For now, enjoy!

I like what you are doing. I am wondering if the skrimish section would be better suited for it though?

Maybe enough threads with [DDM 1] would get host to make a sub board.

I really like the willing to follow on the cheap commanders. Simple fix to make them more usable.

you can check my sig for Rock Bottom pricing Costs... rather than change stats (which are listy, hard to read, hard to agree on) we lowered point costs of many pieces in hopes of having some ddm 1.0 fun. Many people responded to these possitively. I tended to err on the side of more playable than trying to consider every possibility within 2-3 points.

That's also a valid option! Reference added in the first post. I think that having a choice between changed stats OR cost is good, so everyone can use the solution that better suits them. First post is also updated with tons of new creatures (Achaierai is currently not one of them... maybe next update?)

Does anyone thinks about to transfer the new minis like the ice-archon to the 3.5 RPG stats? I posted some weeks ago, that it would be nice, that the retrogaming not only goes skirmish.... I do not have the experience to do the downgrade of the new minis. Does someone have a idea how to transfer the new creatures?

Nope, no rpg conversions on my part. Don't know if anyone is working on them.

On a side note, now that 2.0 Unhallowed is out, here you are some erratas:

Something I noticed comparing old and new stats:

1) Now Lyradar works the way it was meant to work (damage changing spell doesn't force allies to make a save - well, in DDM2 it works only on them, but still)
2) Werewolf lord has Melee reach 2
3) Strahd and Van Richten are now unique.

This means only that those missing abilities from 1.0 cards were not intentional, after all. How sad.
