| Hi.
I'd like to know who preorders cases (or used to), how much do you preorder and if you get a discount because of it. When do you need to get the deal done?
Shops here give about 10 per cent discount for buying cases, so is a preorder more advantageous?
I'd like to know how big impact this has on sales, esp. considering what right now looks as bad marketing (from my viewpoint) on teh WotC side.

| I used to, back before Unhallowed. That was the set that stopped my case buying in it's tracks. Depending on the amount ordered, I paid in the neighborhood off $100-$110 per case at current prices.
Unless they go back to what they told us they were going to do and show at least 80% of a set before release, there's no way I'll ever preorder again, but with the current trend in the appearance of minis, it doesn't really matter as I won't be buying cases at all. Sad really. I do so love to rip open boosters. | |

| I am still pre-ordering cases and always search out the cheapest deal I can find. This time around it was 2 cases from popular colloections for $220 total which included shipping (got the 2 tielfling from them as well). I've pre-ordered from many different shops, but am always looking for the best deal. I wasn't to thrilled with this set and have seriously been contemplating whether I should continue with the case purchases. This has both to do with the # of minis I already have, plus the shift to 4th edition where I am not planning on switching so I am sure many of the creatures will be somewhat useless.
I may soon start to order singles only for the ones which still work well for 3.5, however, this is still very tuff to do considering I love ripping open my boosters! | |

| I may be out of the cases thing as well, not through hate of the minis but because I simply have all I need for RPG so I'll just buy singles of stuff for the next few sets.
But when buyiing cases Gameoutfitter and miniaturemarket are great, GO sells for about 100 bucks a case +shipping and MM charges 109 a case but free shipping so both are about the same price.
