From 1st AtG preview:

As inWar of the Dragon Queen, there are six uncommon Huge figures and six rare Huge figures, with a rare Huge being found on average in one out of three boosters. We've changed how the other figures are distributed, too. In addition to the 12 Huge figures in the set, there are 18 rares, 21 uncommons, and 9 commons. In a single booster, you'll find one Huge figure (uncommon or rare), one non-Huge rare, three uncommons, and three commons.

I like how rares are found "on average" in one of every three boosters. Can't wait for reports of zero-rare Huge cases to appear.

Thanks greyhaze!

I appreciate it.

Not too sure I'm happy with the huges in this set. The Blackroot Treant looks cool I guess, but it really doesn't look a whole lot like a treant to me. I'm meh on the huge Chain Golem. The Death Titan is kinda cool (if his weapon is easily fixed with hot water anyways) but I'll likely only want one at most. I'm excited about both dragons, but then again I've never been able to get a hold of the older huge red version. The air elemental/cyclone thing might be OK depending on the paint. The Carrion Crawler I could care less about, the Umber Hulk is cool, but again I'd most likely only want one. The Earth Titan - one at most as well. The Yuan-Ti I like, and the Fire Titan(?). The giant with the big sword is nice, but it looks like it may be a large(?)

I'm an plasticrack addict though so I'll buy/trade for at least one of each no matter what

Still though, I'm hoping that the large/med/small minis make up for the rest of the set though. So far I've only seen a few that have excited me so I'm not gonna hold my breath.

The Fire Giant Raider is large. Notice how it's base is the same material as the mini itself while the huges have that hard plastic base.

Typically, doesn't that imply clear plastic use?

Yeah, that's what I meant, they tend to have a different base than the other minis. My bad, though, I was thinking of a different mini.

Ugghh. That 'treant' just pushed me into the 'no bother about a case'.Â

The chain golem nice, but wouldn't buy it as a rare, an it would be cheapish uncommon.

Soooo many minis in this set that older collectors don't need. I understand need to have minis repeated for newer collectors, but seems unreasonable ratio if WoTC wanted to keep the older ones buying as much as always.

i agree with the majority that hese huges are awful. i like the umberhulk and the Red and thats it. i hope the free huge at the prerelease is the chain golem as some of these others are suspect. That Treant is garbage!

This set is a HUGE disappointment for me. All my hopes for a turnaround were placed in the Elder (huge) Silver Dragon, though I felt unlucky to get one.

Now seeing all the huge figures in this set, there are just the two dragons I'd like to get. I may find use for an uncommon chain golem in an adventure, but it's no must-have by any means.

I remember mentally preparing my wife a few month ago for spending a large amount of money for this set. Well... she'll be happy.

I just don't really get it, though. We're getting a huge set every 18 months or so, and instead of giving us all those wanted minis, they come up with such a load of uninspired ****.
I'm about to lose all the remaining interest in 2.0. The stats are late, the rules constantly changing, we'll never have all the small and tiny dragons missing, and so many 4th edition minis just look horrible.

Did they find a bargain on gray and black paint?  It would be nice to see a bit more color on the minis.

treant- yep kokopelli... First thing I thought of... How is that a treant again? I would have much prefered they just make the blackwood dryad 5 times bigger... It's kinda cool but it's no treant.

Chain golem- yawn yawn yawn... Could you sculpt less impressively if you tried... It's a huge! Use some detail! Ouch this thing hurts me just looking at it.

Death Titan- cool but I call him Bendiaxe Mcwarped-Alot

Rock Bottom Pricing:
Arcane Archer 30, Centaur Hero 67, Human Cleric of Bane 25, Gold Champion 34, Death Knight 52, Goblin Blackblade 9, Silentwolf Goblin 7, Orc Raider 10, Dwarf axefighter 9, Healer 9, Thaskor 65, Aspect of Demogorgon 71, Ogre 9, Fire Giant 79, Human Wanderer 7, Drunken Master 18, Barghest 12, Longstider Barbarian 27, Longtooth Barbarian 22, Frost Giant 76, Ravenous Vampire 42, Large Earth Elemental: priceless

I'd like to see chains hanging from the chain golem.

Treant? Oh god:) If it's nicely sculpted, then ok, and I second the kokopelli wave!

I hope the non-huges can save the set. The strong point from Giants of Legend was next to the great selection of huges, also the best selection of rares and commons yet IMHO.

Meh, these are not final paints. probably mid or early production pieces stolen or taken from the factory.

Wonder why they hate leaks? people jumping to bad conclusions. Wait for the finished product, not some factory grab from the floor.

I've got no problems with the paint jobs here, they do look like the final version.  I just don't care for the Treeant's sculpt, it's not terribly tree-ish.  The Death Titain and the Chain Golem look pretty good, although I will have to do some work on the former to fix that weapon.
