| ... at least one possible reason why the kids at WotC chose a Huge White and a Huge Red for the set.
Both of those dragons were in the original Against the Giants series. The Frost Giant Jarl had a pet White Dragon, and Old King Snurre had a big ol' Red, sitting on a pile of treasure.
I'm not sure if that's intentional, but if that means that they are converting Old School adventures to 4th Edition, those sneaky so-and-sos will bring me one step closer to converting.

| | Nice catch. I never got a chance to go through the classic adventures (Red Hand of Doom was my first published adventure). If they do end up converting, I'd be overjoyed by the ability to run through them. | | Completed trades: Brenigin, desiderata, HockeyFan, MikeyChraal, Raland, GuJiaXian | |

Taking the actual modules and then updating them with 4e stats would be the thing to do. Kind of like the old ENworld 3.0/3.5 conversions of classic modules.
I have no faith that is what they will do. It will likely be more like their 3.5 reimaginings of things like Return to Undermountain and Castle Ravenloft. | | Ghendar - Now with 51% more snark

Good catch, Kyrin... That makes a lot of sense, and I'm hoping the fall has an ATG module, for high level play.

Which is exactly why I made a Huge White Dragon my Called Shot for this set.
It's also why I Called Aspect of Baphomet for Demonweb, because there are a number of Aspects in Expedition to the Demonweb Pits.

| Hi Kyrin,
That is a good call. That would be a smart way to bring in the old gamers in to the new system.
I wonder if we can get some female Hill Giants, more Frost Giants, Ice Toads, and proxy that Giant Carrion Crawler for a Remorhaz?
Later,
Mazra
