| Is it just me, or are they talking about the 1.0 umber hulk, when they've switched to 2.0 and showing us his 2.0 card? :)
The author uses terms from both games. I'm not sure now if Lareth the Beautiful is in All-Stars. If so, it could be viewed as a sort-of a spoiler. Or the author changed his writing style. :)

| I think both the Lareth and and Dire Wolf references are spoilers, but why is he talking about Chaotic Evil Champions?

| The whole thing seems like it was written a long time ago, by someone who didn't know how the rules were going to change, and that it's been sitting on a hard drive until yesterday and was hastily added to their website without a last-minute edit of the piece.
It appears to be an example of really bad judgment.

I was thinking the exact same thing, but I chose a less direct way, because I've been quite negative the last several weeks about Wizards:)
Hmmm...how long does it take to write a spotlight? | | 2007 & 2008 Czech Republic Champion 2008 Czech Republic's Player of the Year

| Posted By Pedro on 05/23/2008 6:06 AM Hmmm...how long does it take to write a spotlight? That's an interesting question. My first reaction was to say "Write one and find out." And then I thought, "Hey, we could do this over here on Maxminis. We could write our own Spotlight articles." Of course, we'd have to give them another name. But, the discussions in the skirmish area often amount to a collaborative Spotlight article anyway.

| | I really feel sorry for the guy who wrote the article. Someone subbed in a few words to try and make it 2.0ish and only succeeded in making him seem like a fool, like talking about Chaotic Evils lack of high Champion Ratings. They shouldn't have messed with it at all and just presented it as what it was, the last ever 1.0 article. | | Eye dun no why youse guys think im not relly a person im jimgang from canada but im moving to cali as soon as i get a master card -Jimgang So, you stand at your grave, Has your soul yet been taken away? The intro blurb before you click on the link to the article says:
This installment of Spotlight looks back to a creature from Desert of Desolation. Why? Because your ever-lovin' editor misplaced Rob Heiret's take on the Umber Hulk Delver, and umber hulks are the third coolest monsters ever.
I assume it is the original 1.0 spotlight article, and the editor "lost" the 2.0 version. The reference to Champion Rating could be a change that the editor made, thinking that it was supposed to be a 2.0 spotlight.
