| On ENWorld, there's a thread asking about the 4e Succubus. A reply is this:
"Well I understand that, I just haven't seen any other attacks in the
books that have a monster making two attacks before any effect occurs.
As for "Can he run away?" All it says is "The target cannot attack the
succubus, and if adjacent to the succubus when the succubus is targeted
by a melee or ranged attack, the target interposes himself and becomes
the target of the attack." And then it mentions how long the effect
lasts.
HOWEVER. She can dominate at will, and the domination lasts until the
end of her next turn. So she can say "You ain't going anywhere", and
put a leash and collar on her new bodyguard."
And this makes me wonder whether the Succubus from Blood War will have some cool ability to turn adjacent enemies into bodyguards.

| | That ability sounds like it could be very powerful. R&D would have to implement it carefully, if they wanted to give the Succubus that kind of a flavour. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades. | |

| | Will be the succubus converted to 2.0?? Or they will release a 2.0 succubus in the next sets?? I do not mind a succubus resculpt if they respect the complete nudity because it is one of my favourite minis in the whole game. And about the ability it sounds sweet and funny. | | LOVE THIS GIRL | |

| The use of the word "he" refers to the target of the Succubus' power.
I would imagine that this would be a special power that would replace an attack. The Succubus will have to hit with it, and then the target might move to an adjacent square (similar to the Harpy's Lure), and then that creature will serve as a Bodyguard at the Succubus' player's option (save ends).

Haven't I seen that sentence on a T-shirt at GenCon? If not, I should have.
