| hi, I just tried the 4th ed D&D game and I would like to purchase some miniatures to play. I bought the starter set and I noticed it has the 4th ed rules. what about the other sets? which ones have the 4th ed rules? can the older sets be played as well with the 4th ed rules? thank you for all the info you can give | | | |

| Dungeons of Dread is the only set out right now that has 4th edition stats in the boosters.
You can find 4e stats for Desert of Desolation, Night Below, and a beta version of Unhallowed here: Link

| Currently you can play Dungeons of Dread, Desert of Desolation and Night Below. The beta cards for Unhallowed are out right now. WotC is planning to update all the cards, but there are separate tournament formats to use them in at sanctioned events. You can play however you want for casual. Here is the link to the updated cards:

| what about prices? I'm not interested in buying boosters so I searched some minis on ebay but the prices are too high and having to spend on more minis of the same type is too much. can you suggest some other option? (btw I'm from Italy) | | | |

| Quite a few people trade minis, either for other minis, or for other things. Browse the trading threads here and at Gleemax and see if you can find some people willing to trade with you.
Many people will ship to other countries as well.

| There are several stores that sell singles online. Google gamerocket, ccgarmory, popularcollections. Don't buy minis through paizo, they are very expensive. | | Powergamers of the World, Unite! Completed Trades: jedijon, Rakhamon | |

| Let's put 1 thing straight. It's DDM Skirmish 2.0 stats which are downloadable. the D&D RPG 4e stats are not available for the older minis.

| | The minis are cheap on ebay if you buy as singles and in bulk. You can get orcs for like .40 cents. Or at least use too. Even a buck is cheap compared to metal. | | Champion of the Peryton Vindicated Champion : Pit Fiend, Devourer DW: Duergar Priest RPG Only!!!! The Drumming Drunkn' DM | |

| | You can paly for free online with Vassal. There are cheap drow out there that are actually useable for 2.0 skirmish: Drow Blademaster and Drow Enforcer (I've heard it mentioned a few times, may be outdated now). | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor | |

I think there will be printed versions for sale. I worked NYCC for WotC, and as part of our swag bag, there was a sealed pack of the Night Below cards for 2.0.

No, but I don't think they would go to those lengths just for 9 random volunteers. Maybe, I guess they might, but it seems like maybe they'll either be giveaways or for sale.

Could be handing them out at Gencon, like the DoD1 2.0 cards at XP. | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor | |

And even when they're done restatting (note the use of the adverb(?) "when", instead of "if"), WotC still can decide not to provide officialy printed cards. Will take a long time indeed before I'm vindicated again.
