Reread his post.  He is making a list of repaints that are not from Organized Play (D&DC#) or GMR.

To be quite honest, I have no idea what "Organized Play" or "GMR" actually entails, hence my confusion.

NP.  Organized Play repaints are the ones that have the D&DC# on that bottom that are 99% of the time given out in the monthly retailer kits, Delves and prerelease.  GMR are Gamemaster Rewards.  Those are sent out to people who belong to the Rewards Program, turn in points for running sanctioned adventures, etc and are sent a repaint just about every quarter.

Technically, because of the base stamp, the Zhentarim Fighter should be on this list.  It does not have an Organized Play number on its base.  The Chain Golem will most likely have a D&DC# on the base like previous prerelease repaints.

About that - I've seen the mini, and it sure doesn't look like a repaint to me. So I'd leave it off the list of OP _repaints_, myself.

Correct.  I have one.  The shield (and sword?) are copper and the set one is silver.

The inn-fighting promo is a repaint? Agk!!!!! Curses! My wallet is probably finally forcing me to give up getting all repaints... :(

If voting could really change things, it would be illegal.

Yup, it is.  If you keep your eyes open on ebay, you can find him cheap.  I think I got mine for about 5$ including s/h.

I didn't think Elminster was a repaint either by the way. Is this a different Elminster than the EdCon one?

One in the same.  The Underdark Elminster has red robes and the EdCon/Repaint one has brown robes.  I used to have one but traded it away.  I'm now in the market for another one.Â

Yegads. I've got four bagged just laying around. Seems like I may need to wander over to ebay...

A cheap (free) way to pick up GMR minis is to run sanctioned RPGA events as the GM. You can even sanction your weekly home-based D&D game as an RPGA event (less points, but no restrictions on how you run it).

specifics about joining

From experience, I found that if you aren't an RPGA member you need to 1) attend an RPGA event or 2) e-mail the RPGA and request membership cards .

The Herald-level test is open-book, online, and takes slightly less than an hour. If you fail the test you'll have to wait a set amount of time before retrying.

Yup, when you set the game up using the rpga reporting web site, you can choose "Home Game" as one of the variants of the game held. I think you can even choose between Eberron Home Game, Forgotten Realms Home Game and Other Home Game. I don't know if there is an actual difference apart from giving WotC some statistics. When the game has been held and you report it through the web site, you get one (1) point for it. I think you need twenty to qualify for a mini reward during a period, although the points carry over to the next if you don't get as many as needed. Be wary however that the rpga have a less than stellar record of sending stuff correctly, at least overseas.

If voting could really change things, it would be illegal.
