And why? Why loose boosters or why cases? And if you buy no boosters or cases, will you buy singles? Does the fact that this is a huge set change your buying habit?
I was planning on buying 2 cases, because of the non-duplicate rares and huges per case. But because of an incorrect tax assessment, I had to cancel my preorder.
I tend to buy 2 cases each set, which would have been 4 of the huge set (only 6 boosters/case). It would have been only 2 cases this time because they are comparatively expensive.
I will now go for the 2 boosters at pre-release + a few spare boosters, option 3 that is. Maybe I will buy more boosters later, maybe I'll try to complete through trading and/or buying singles.
not sure yet.

| 2 boosters at the prereleases + w/e I buy for sealed.
I only buy singles if any, just for skirmish, I have no use for most stuff if it's not skirmish playable because I don't need it for RPG. I just get singles if I need anything. | |

Of the 20 figures I have detials of so far, I only want 4. And 4 more would be OK for RPG use.
With the high cost of "huge" boosters, thas too small a percentage.
If the 40 figures that have not been previewed all turn out to be excellent. I will change my mind. But if thats the case, WotC should fire whoever chose the figures they previewed. | |

I voted none. I will be buying some singles, but so far it looks like I'll be spending maybe $40 total. This being a huge set normally would've caused me to buy more, not less, but the set is appearing to be very sub-par and nearly all of the huges are undesireable. | |

| I haven't bought cases in a really long time, and it's so hard to get everything with the Huge sets. So, I talked with my FLGS and I'll be going in with 5 other guys on a 10-case order. So, we'll be getting a good price, the FLGS will be happy, and I'll get a decent amount of minis from the set.
Also, I'm judging a pre-release and a post-release and not playing in any, so I can't win any from playing and won't be buying any to play, so I'll be a little light on the start. I usually buy enough for myself and son and his friends at a pre-release that I have a pretty good pile just from that.

| I'm on board with 4 cases, mostly due to running rpg. They run me a deal at 75 a case so it's not so bad, and I wont make the prerelease due to time and money constraints beyond what I've already budgeted. That's my two cents.

| I'll buy 4 cases, which is basically 2 regular cases.
This is how many I've gotten for the past 4-5 sets. The girlfriend and I alternate opening boosters and then we add up (according to Auggies and such) how much our cases would have cost us, and who picked the best. Overall its a nice time and a good 'Happy Miniatures Day' that we get to celebrate 3 times a year.
I dont think a lot of the figures I've seen have been great, but I know I'll want one of each, so I'll still get a few cases because there won't be much overlap.

| | Two at the prerelease and probably four here and there. Unless epic become a supported format, there's no reason to get a bunch of huges-I haven't used the DQ huges since I got them. Play has slowed to a crawl at the FLGS and there seems to be just a few figures from each set that you really need, so I'll do singles for the rest. I'd love a huge Red Dragon and like a White but I know my booster luck so...

| I'll probably pick up a couple boosters the day of release (no prerelease events here) and buy singles/trade for the rest. I'm sure I'll eventually pick up a couple singles over the course of time as well too but a lot of that depends on my finances and impulse buys when I'm at the FLGS.
Mostly it's because I've had very mixed luck with cases. I had a great Unhallowed case for instance, but Night Below was horrid. I can't afford multiple cases and found out that for the cost of a case I can pick up most of the singles I want and the rest I can trade for eventually.

| My reason for only buying two boosters and maybe no more than $100 on singles -
1) IMHO from a pure Skimish point of view, this set is sorta underwhelming. When all the stats for this set is release I might change my tune but base off the previews (and just off those) it's highly unlikely.
2) It is the only Epic legal set so far as WOTDQ and GOL have yet to be updated. Fewer choices means the same Epic warbands showing up again and again = boring. (for me at least.
3) We're in a recession. Now's not the time to go hog-wild and buy the 2 cases(or 4) like I normally do but to be economically prudent. | |

Set lists have been weak for a while, and this is (for me) just about the weakest. I'd love to buy more, but the re-sculpt frenzy is just too much. There are stacks of huge minis I'd like, but this was a pathetic selection of huges.

| I'm past the point of wanting to buy boosters for random minis. They simply aren't worth it to me anymore. I will buy or trade for the singles I want.
From what I've seen so far I'm not overly excited about this set anyway.
I bought lots of WotDQ, and wish I had bought more of GOL so it being a huge set doesn't matter. | |

However it could be the last set I'm buying cases anyway. With 3000+ minis and so many resculpts I don't really need much more. There are only two dozen or so minis I'd like to see done, and I can buy them as singles when they are.
For the first time I don't feel compelled to complete a set. The next sets had better be excellent, or it will be singles...
And storage space is becoming an issue, too. I can fix it, but it's still a hassle. | |

| I ordered 2 cases but only since this is a huge set (6 boosters per case). This will give me enough to get most of the set.
I will slowly collect the missing rares over time.
I'm happy with this amount as it (for me) allows me to continue collecting, getting a variety of minis while slowing the rate of accumulation.
Which to me also slows the "saturation effect"-declining interest in future minis & storage/usage issue. | |

| I would have happily continued to buy cases if WotC hadn't done the 4e remakes of monsters. I may have gotten five cases like with WotDQ. But since they have changed and gone to so many remakes for the newer audience, they have lost an older customer who shelled out several hundred each release. I won't be buying any boosters and don't know if I will be getting singles. This set is the most disappointing set I have ever seen, and I am not saying that for melodramatic purposes. The last set disappointed me a lot.
