Hi!

DDM1 is over, there will be no more models for this rules, so if somebody likes this rules more than the new one, he has to play with this models.
There is big unbalance between the older stats and the new stats and there are a few models which are to strong.
Whit no new models comming they(the newer and better) models will be in use forever.
So I thught why not revise the point system of the game. I would not touch the abilities and the texts, but is so easy to decrease or increase the point cost
There is only a few models which are to cheap now(one of them is the Fire Giant Forge Priest), but there are a lot which are to expensive( old dragons, old giants) compared for the newer models.
Is here anybody who feel the same?
What do you think, is there any chance to an official errata regarding this?

Bye

Hello & Welcome to maxminis,

There have been a few conversions of stats, including some newer figures with DDM 1 bits. I think the links are in the codex of threads up the top of this forum.
Retrogaming! Converting DDM2 minis to DDM1
New Epic Cards for DDM 1

A lot of people seem divided about easier to change stats or point cost.

Lord Rock has 'rock bottom pricing' (mental note: get the link from him to include) which adjusted different, where as angelfiend has changed abilities (and is mostly focused on epic).

It is really unlikley that WOTC will do any offical errata for DDM1. They dropped it pretty quickly, and supporting an old game doesnt make much sense for them to do.

If you can find other people who are willing to take the time to chance the costs of things, and you all want to do that and then play by the old rules, go for it.

I believe that there's a 99.9999999% chance that WotC will not produce any more material for the first edition of the game.
