| B- : Not great, but not that bad either. I like most of the minis, but very few of them are OMG ROXXORZ and on the other hand very few are WTF I'M BLIND!.
For a huge set, I wanted more, much more to be great, not just good.
I agree with the above posters; the Owlbear sucks. Ugly, hideous. And then the huges. I just hope the huge red won't look like a overgrown pokemon. That would qualify him for the most hideous creature in the set. Worse than the Owlbear, really. | |

| | I gave it a C-. Lots' of turd sculpts and poor paint drag it down. There are a few really nice minis though and it appears to be good for skirmish. The Huge White and Efreeti are really nice, and the Tomebound Arcanist looked really good that I saw, but a lot (huge red, Blademaster, etc.) were terrible. | |

| The gallery and previews had me very worried, but I actually like a lot these creatures. Paintjobs aren't as bad as it seems, though it's obvious that wizards has cut down on paintsteps. Overall this set is looking better than dungeons of Dread IMO, especially sculptwise.
I voted A- mainly because this set is very good for skirmish! a lot of the so-called 'crappy rares' have very interesting stats, both for casual play and competitive play. the minus is for the fact that Blood War is and likely will be my favorite set of all times.
I think I'll enjoy this set for a long time:-) | |
