| After several months of intense work, the DDM Oracle team is pleased to announce the first stage of the DDM Oracle's release. While the D&D Miniatures Game Battle Rules contains all the rules you'll need to cover most situations, casual or competitive, some situations call for more detailed and more precise rules. To that end, we've developed a Comprehensive Rules guide intended to be the ultimate rules source for the game; you usually won't need to refer to these rules except in specific cases or during competitive games. That Comprehensive Rules guide and an accompanying FAQ are available now at the DDM Oracle website, http://www.ddmoracle.com/. In the coming weeks, additional features of the DDM Oracle will come online, including: * An annotated, online version of the Comprehensive Rules guide * Oracle text for every published stat card, with a searchable database of figures * A mailing list to automatically send you notifications about new versions of the rules document, or optionally, to be sent the latest version each time it's updated (along with a brief explanation of changes made since the last version). At the moment, note that these rules are not Official, and are not published by Wizards of the Coast. However, they are the consensus interpretation of those rules by almost a dozen top players and judges, and we hope that most judges will join us in standardizing the game's rules by adopting them in their tournaments. Over the next week, we'll be gathering feedback on the rules, and will publish one update prior to GenCon, no less than two weeks from the start of the convention. Again, visit the DDM Oracle website at http://www.ddmoracle.com/, download the rules and the FAQ, get to reading, play some games, and let us know what you think! - Kevin Tatroe, on behalf of the DDM Oracle Team
