What's the policy on leaks here? Something along these lines:
1) Spoilers must be posted in a new thread containing [SPOILER] in the thread title. Users have the right to avoid spoiled information if they choose.
2) Mods may remove spoilers (after discussion) if the spoilers appear to be a direct attempt by a user to mislead the community. Further action against Maxminis Terms of Use violators may be taken.
3) Spoilers are often erroneous.
4) If a WotC representative posts a request that the images be removed then the images will most likely be removed.

| I feel partially responsible for the Thoon Hulk. I know that this set was in production long before Peter Lee was asking for large monsters for the fall 2009 set, but I requested a Thoon Hulk, among other things.
And I, at least, am happy that it's been made. | |

The sculpts/paintjobs look good but there are only about 2 rares I'm interested in at this point. Everything else I either have an older version or it doesn't interest me.
Very sad that the cyclops is rare. Cyclopes with battleaxes tend to show up in large numbers in 4e encounters

Still seems liek more and more recyles than in past sets, can understand sortof why. But seems repeats from even a couple of sets ago.
The four armed drow makes for a nice difference from just another drow.
Looks like mind flayers have defintly changed from thier iconic colour ):
Yaunti love contiunes, thinking soon it might be dungeons, dragons and snakes.
Good to see a large uncommon orge.
Assumingthese are spoils of booters nit masters the paint and scuplts look really pleasing.
Minotaur looks great.

I'm absolutely loving the bearded devil and the chromatic dragons, the girallon and the skull lord are interesting, and the rare ogre might just be the best ogre so far... Colour me very excited!

| Cool, I guessed right on the Iron Dragon being the one on the booster art. There are a lot of rescuplts, but a good number of them seem to be from older sets (Bearded Devil) or are expensive (Black Dragon). I'm suprised to see another Ettin so soon but it looks like it might even be better looking than the Jack of Irons, nice to see a creature that has a noticable upwards quality curve as it gets respults. I like the look of the new ogres. Another medium minotaur (minitaur?) is nice now that Krynn Minotaurs are the new default.
Not sure about the Girallon. The mind flayers have potential, but maybe after this set we can get a break from them? | |

I have to say, aside from a few minor things, that I'm pretty excited about what I'm seeing. I think they need to tone back on the resculpts of monsters we've had in the last 3-4 sets, but I can see the need what with them marketing 4E and all. Still, even the resculpts are nice looking in this set.
*EDIT* anyone have any clues as to what the black/silver version of the Concord Illithid could be? Repaint perhaps? My browser won't even start to translate the orignal page the minis are listed on (Japanese site?), the text mostly all comes up as question marks so I can't read most of it. I'd also be curious about the prices they are asking. Is it OK to post the picture here? I just followed the source links from Greyhaze's site when I found it.

| Wow pics so soon, they look good! Continues resculpts but the variety is great.
I like that there are more Slaadi, Dragonborn, Mindflayers, Dragons (of course), Ogres, another Minotaur, Cyclops & Ettin.
Of course I would wish that more of them might be uncommons rather than rares.

| Wow there is fairly good quality but almost nothing I want. Even less than AtG. The number of minis I want with each new set is divebombing. My enthusiasm for collecting DDM is just dying on me.
I don't like mind flayers nor demon/devils nor the bizarre drow things. Just about everything else is a remake. The disappointment is like slogging through a deep swamp in the fog. The light is missing.

Just to confirm what Zenthrus posted above:
The posting of unreleased "spoiler/leaked" photos and stats are allowed on Maxminis, per the rules that Host posted in the stickied thread in the Forums section.
If WotC requests that the pictures be removed, they will be removed (at least temporarily) while we get confirmation from Host about how he wants to handle the specific situation.

Love the Webgolem, Skull Lord (just saw this the other day in the MM4 or 5), Solamith (another I just saw the other day in one of the MM), more large dragons whoohoo (even though I have 2 of every dragon), love mind flayers and finally a uncommon ogre with just a club. Sign me up for a case already.

| The Bearded Devil as a rare is like a slap in the face. I guess I'll just proxy them since I'm not spending $200 on them.
The Slaadi being rare is disapointing as well and I really don't comprehend the Web Golem and Girallon being rare. The Golem looks to have as many paint steps as the Astral Construct and the WD Girallon is still available for $1.
Overall, they do look better than the past few sets, but it's the rarities and resculpts of things that are so recent and readily available that will keep my buying to a minimum. | |

Autumn Wind Ranger - it's ok. Pose is very static and unnatural.
Lurking Black Dragon - cool, but the pose is similar in nature to the Large Black Dragon.
Blood Slaad - I'm meh on slaads.
Brutal Ogre Warhulk - pretty cool, but like the Fire Giant Raider, I dislike that he is posed looking down.
Concord Illithid - pretty cool.
Curse Slaad - meh on slaads.
Cyclops Hewer - wish it was Uc! Very cool.
Draegloth Favored One - yah, nice beehive Amy Winehouse.
Dragonborn Paladin of Bahamut - why are all the dragonborn gold? Rare again? Good! because I only want 1!
Drow Demonbinder - hmm....
Ettin Spirit-Talker - waaaay better than the Jack-of-Irons.
Girallon - would be cool as a Uc. Great pose!
Iron Dragon Prowler - pretty cool. I like the long, lanky body.
Kuyutha, Exarch of Bahamut - see Dragonborn Pally.
Minotaur Warrior - sweet! When do we get a Uc version?
Ogre Pulverizer - the only thing that would have made this any better would have been if his club was raised and in a more aggressive pose. Other than that, nice!
Rakshasa Assassin - nice.
Shadow Flayer - bleh. I prefer my mindflayers physically weak and ready to suck brains, not stab stuff.
Skull Lord - pretty cool.
Solamith - huh, mmm...hmm.
Stormrage Blue Dragon - total awesome!
Thoon Hulk - pretty bizarre beastie!
Vicious Bearded Devil - from this angle, I like the HB one better
Web Golem - meh
Yuan-ti Malison Incanter - pretty sweet
