| Just a slight sidetrack of a noob question here. Does anyone know the requirements to get the retail kit? Is this something that my FLGS should be getting automatically? Or is it something they have to buy from WotC? Or does WotC send it to stores that order more than some amount of dollars worth of merchandise? This stuff could really help jump start the fairly dead minis scene around here.

Are there restrictions on what the FLGS can do with the retail kit (for promotional purposes only - not for resale, that sort of thing)? For example, can they just sell the contents piece by piece? Could they sell me the whole kit? I wanted to run a minis event in the upcoming con in my area (Tacticon 2008) and would love to have some repaints or other cool mini stuff to use as prizes/incentives. My local store isn't sponsoring the con and doesn't do much with minis, so I think I'd have to buy the kits myself. I just don't want to be giving the minis out at the Con and have some WotC goon slap me around.

| They have some strong restrictions on it. It's only for tournament use. They should not be selling the contents, piecemeal or whole.
