I totally agree, this is why I have placed myself on a "send first" probation....this way I am not forcing anyone to be out anything for any length of time....if I send late, they still have the minis they were to send to me and they (hopefully) will not feel that they are being ripped off.
Exactly, I was doing my best, without being rude, to get it so that I would ship first on a trade still yet to be completed on both ends. Cursed customs probably still has it as it was only sent about a week ago. I hope they don't have it for another week to bloody bomb-check it, for goodness sake. I know that the world is getting to be an even more dangerous place and the threats are becoming more obvious to realize but more difficult to find but the way many people are going overboard is ridiculous. About a year ago when I went with my mom to Fort St. John or someplace(I can't quite remember) because my mother needs to keep getting her hearing checked and whatnot, no matter where we went, every sort of alarm kept going off all around me and I never even went into any stores or anything but still got detained for a while and hours later after I had talked with security and whatnot, I realized I had one of my mother's hearing aid in my pocket as she needed to take it off for the testing and asked me to hold onto it. Obviously things like this happen, but if they went overboard because of this sort of situation, imagine how much "care" they put into making sure a package doesn't have a bomb or have anthrax or something? Guh, I hope this all goes smoothly. Sorry for the rant. | |

| I received an uncommon mini given to me by IB without me having asked for anything, at the conclusion of some negotiation that didn't lead to an agreement. Quite a nice gesture on his part.

| I just received my end of a trade with Iron BB yesterday but was so tired I decided to wait until my hallucinatory sleep deprivation went away.[)]
The minis and their cards were undamaged, except for the D&D Basic game Black Dragon card. Fortunately for me, I was expecting this but to a greater extent due to the fair age of it. The damage was not nearly as much as I had anticipated, though, so I am very pleased with the way this trade came out. I would more than readily trade with him again if we could work out another deal.

I received an email from Allen stating his mini's were shipping on the first of August and another email 2 weeks ago asking if I received them yet. No response to my emails from that point forward. I see he's had some delays in shipments in the past and I hope this is just another case of that happening, but considering the dates involved I'm really starting to doubt I'll ever see the mini's we agreed upon. I'll update this if I ever hear back from him (or obviously if I receive the shipment) but for now I'm not feeling much joy about this particular trade. | |

Still have not received anything. Last email I received was October 17th claiming that the order would probably be shipped out on the 19th.
Seeing so many other people have their trades successfully completed gives me some small amount of hope that my mini's will still arrive. However. at this point I'd warn any new traders from shipping first unless you are willing to potentially wait 4+ months (he received my shipment on 7/31/06) to receive anything.
