Good question on your part. My son whom some of you know as Krush Jr has a pending trade with CG, that they negoiated over the weekend (last friday?). Cg even promised that he'd send first. Jr is still waiting.....

If he does not have Delivery Confirmation numbers for all outstanding trades posted in this thread within 48 hours, his account will be locked and he will be labeled as a Bad Trader.
I have been more than patient, and it is now time for action on my part.

Just to let opeople know, CG has stated that my pacel was posted out to me yesterday. Being an international trade, DC#'s are not applicable. If/when I recieve my parcel I will be sure to notify everyone.

Actually this is 2 outstanding trades. (Trades #10 & #11). I think this is the resend of 2-3 other resends? Anyway, at least I have contact with him, and due to other factors (and things CG & I have going on), I would like to believe that this is the final 'actual' sending of my parcel. I, like all of you, will wait to see of course.

OK Comments:
He didn't remember the trade, even though I've sent email and been on the two lists, I know it's not a big trade, but it's important to me. He asked that I send first, why would he send before he received? He has never, ever provided any sort of delivery confirmation number even though I've requested one every time I've started an email chain with him. Since last Friday (and early Saturday morning) I have not heard from him again and have had no response to my last email.
If anyone who is persuing legal action or Merric or anyone else with authority would like the email chain forwarded to them I will be happy to do so.

| I will be reporting this as mail fraud on Saturday using the USPS' website if I don't hear from him tomorrow, I encourage everyone else to do the same, so that the Post Office can identify him as a problem. My trade may have been of little value compared to others, but it IS valuable to me, and that is all that matters.
We'll need more than a few people to file a complaint though, we need everybody.

| Just a note: I think I've only ever locked 3 accounts because of scamming, and there was clear, uncontested evidence of the fact. The evidence is hardly uncontested in this instance, which makes everything a lot harder.
The reason the disputed trade lists exist is to let the trader know about people that may be suspect. | |

| At this point, I'm not sure that there is anything else we can do, everyone has waited so long at this point that I cannot give him the benefit of the doubt anymore.
I have completed 3 trades with him in the past and others have completed many more than that but really what else is there to say.

Is locking his account the only thing that can be done? I wonder if NOT locking his account (unless he does something else...), but publicly (Here, Hordelings, WotC trade boards) we all make everyone know (much as was done here with Datwilp(?!)) that CG/Strongbow is not to be trusted as a trader.
CG really does have a lot of minis. If he ever wants to be apart of the community for the game he enjoys, he needs to somhow make amends eventually...

I concur, I've had several completed trades with CG and the last 2 were took a long time to complete. One almost took 3 months but he did complete his end.

Same here, i didn't have as many as you, but i did have a few trades with him, and saw no reason for another trade to go south. You are right, it does not make sense. But after months of not sending without an explanation (i never even got a crappy excuse, i was just ignored) i have no reason to keep faith.

Very strange indeed..... but by now it seems to be happening, only CG knows what is going on...... but whatever it is, it is causing serious damage to his reputation here.

I am unfortunately out of luck being an international trader, but I belive the collected value of all the trades is waaay to big for this guy to go out clean.
I am not happy with the current situation, and this has a bad effect on th community.

At this point, filling a mail fraud complaint and legal action is pretty much the only thing you can to. The more people that take legal action together as a group the better. One "large" suit is better than several small ones. And when you total up the amount of mini's CG has taken this community for, I'd say its' in the thousands of dollars for sure. Tysac has a thread on the previous page about a lawsuit he is filing on behalf of the wronged parties. I think you have to email him with the specifics of your trade to be included in it.
I have pretty much given up on seeing my property but I would like to see some consequences for CG's actions or lack thereof. I do not have evidence that he intended all along to rip me off even though it seems that way-- as soon as I had confirmed I shipped he stopped all contact even though he was making other trades. However, I do hold him directly to task for his lack of communication and fact that I still do not have have my figures after three months and mulitple chances to "put things right". Not to mention the things like damage to the maxminis community and my wasted time to deal with this bad trader.
Before this I had five trades with CG. I now call into question other trades I've had with him-- did he honestly not receive one time when he said he didn't and I had to resend? Looking at the story of some of his other trade partners and recent behavior I'm starting to question that too.

This is the situation in which I find myself. I had two problem trades w/ CG which I rectified on my end. Now I'm questioning whether or not they were actual problems on my end. One cost me a Pyromancer and the other a Large Silver Dragon.

Someone should kick his ass, that is what should happen. This kind of behavior - which is criminal - is inexcusable in a place like this.
CG should be banned for good, period, even if he bothers to make restitution, which I seriously doubt.
