I regret to inform of a Disputed Trade (actually a purchase) with Gatts aka MackeyV.
Two weeks ago I sent him a PayPal payment for a collection of miniatures, and have not received them.
According to Gatts/Mackey, he was working on getting them sent out. This was last friday. I have not heard from him since.
I have informed him that I was logging a disputed trade and if I do not receive the miniatures, or at least the DC#, i will be starting procedures for reporting him for credit card and mail fraud.
Isn't MackeyV the one who wracked up a bunch of disputed trades about a year or more ago and then decided to get out of DDM and sold his collection to someone who agreed to complete as many of those trades as possible as part of the purchase price of the rest of the collection? Or was that MackeyJ?

Wow, that's MackeyV alright. A while back he claimed that he was out of DDM and sent minis to Spikegif to resolve his trades. Of course he undersent and there wasn't enough to properly compensate all the people he scammed. I'm shocked to read that he's back to scam again under a different name. Dispicable.
Best of luck QoC, I hope you get your money back. How did you figure out that Gatts was MackeyV? In any case, I'd proceed agreesively with fraud charges. This person has a long history of scamming people here.

3/10 I make trade offer to galerians
3/11 Offer accepted, received address from galerians, he said he would send "this week"
3/12 I mail my end, provide DC#
3/15 Receive e-mail from galerians that he will mail on Monday (3/19)
3/23 I e-mail asking about trade status, a DC#
3/26 My end arrives in Richmond TX
3/26 Receive e-mail stating he had just moved and would mail "next day", says he has no internet at this address
4/2 I e-mail again asking about trade status and DC#
4/11 I e-mail again asking about trade status and give 1 week deadline to hear from galerians or I would report as bad trader and pursue mail fraud charges.

I agree this is weird. Unfortunatly,I cannot add this as a disputed trade, the reason being, you have rec'd your end of the trade. My suggestion is to give it a bit longer before filing a complaint.

Krush is officially in charge of the disputed trades thread now. | I sent my trade to Ghirdrah. Sent 5/7/07 I added an extra rare. I know it doesn't help much the fact its so late. I still have 0/5% time for access to computer. I'm getting that fixed today as well since tax refund came in.

| I hate to do so, but I am opening a disputed trade with Thrace. It's a pretty sad day as we had 2 good trades and I was looking forward to the third (and to completing my GoL set ). I still hope he will ship his side, but it is looking less likely.

Accepted: 4/12/2007

He received his minis on or about 4/16/2007.
I followed up with Thrace on 4/23/2007 asking if their was a problem as I had not received any minis from him. He replied the same day and said there was a family emergency and he hadn't been able to get them out yet and would try to do so on 4/25/2007.
It is now 5/15/2007.
According to his profile he has 3 open trades, possibly in the same state as ours.
I will gladly close this complaint if this situation is resolved, as he had been a great trader up until this point.

| I don't think there is a six month window in which disputes go away after that.
If jeremiahcarissa still has an account at maxminis (I don't know what his status is, but I haven't seen him around), then I don't see any reason for the dispute to be lifted just because of time passing. If jeremiahcarissa was banned or put on probation, then that might make a difference. I just don't know the details. | |

| Realistically there isn't a six month period. As there are disputed trades still unresolved that are 2 years old. An example is Darkfather's dispute with Deckten.
As for jeremiahcarissa, I haven't heard from since late 01/07, when he was interested in resolving our trade. He contacted me about resolving it but not a peep since. So I am leaving my as is, just so other users can see that he is on the list. | |

JeremiahCarissa and DJ were negotiating and had exchanged addresses but I don't think either had sent out, then got DJ wind of JeremiahCarissa's trade problems and canceled the trade.
JeremiahCarissa being the way he is took great offense to this and started a dispute, DJ went along with it and gave JeremiahCarissa 6 months to fix his problems and then he would go thru with the trade.
I don't think JeremiahCarissa ever fixed all his trade disputes and so I think DJ should be in the clear, | |

| We confirmed a trade.
He stated he sent.
About a week later, I asked about it. Mainly because he was on the disputed list. I asked to null the trade since he had no proof of sending and he said he would send first. I didn't sent. He didn't send.
That's his dispute. He went to attack a ton of people including me. I do not think I'm above the law on maxminis. I admit I have problems at times. But I've made good on all of my trades. You don't have to take it off. He has a few disputes so I don't think, I'll even bother anymore with that.
But as soon as I get ready, my trade bait will be open to everyone. | |

| Krush is taking a long break from Maxminis and will no longer be maintaining this thread. Therefore, I'm going to take over maintenance of this thread once again. I'll work on updates and getting things cleaned up over the next few days. If you have any disputes to report or discuss, please post them here.
