| | Well if someone can post a person as one if they back out of a trade then, let it be known that he has stated that he is backing out anf therefore nobody let it go with me and if he doesn't want the trade then I want him marked as a bad trader.See LCS even the moderators are taking back trades either post him as one b\c he stated he is backing out or clear my name!!!!! | Seems I may be stepping into a firestorm. In early July, jeremiahcarrissa and I agreed to a trade. He agreed to send first and stated that he had sent. He did not use delivery confirmation. I did not receive. After a month, I stated that I would have to consider the trade cancelled, and I would return his minis if they arrived. He asked to continue the trade and offered to send again. I agreed to continue to wait. I did not receive any communication after that. It's now nearly another two months, so long that I had actually forgotten about the trade. I've e-mailed jeremiahcarrissa that I've cancelled the trade. Again, if I receive, I will return his package.
No hard feelings, but there has to be a reasonable limit on wait time. An agreed trade ties up figures that could be offered to someone else, so that shouldn't go on forever. Also, if expected figures aren't received in a reasonable period of time, a trader should be allowed release from the trade so that they can pursue other reliable sources for the desired figures. | |

| For the purposes of the Disputed Trade list, "2manyfigs" and "TheBabblingBard" should be treated as the same user. Regardless of the history of why those accounts were created and the statement by TheBabblingBard that he is covering the trades made by his ex-wife (2manyfigs), both accounts are currently being accessed by the same person.

| I should have known about TheBabblingBard when I caught him in a lie. He said he had been with his ex-wife when she mailed the package, and then in a later email said the figs had not been sent but he would do so as soon as I reported his ex-wife as a bad trader. I wanted a confirmation # first, which I never received despite assurances to the contrary. No word in over a week now. So yeah, both 2manyfigs and TheBabblingBard are bad traders. Btw, he went by the name James A. Sparling.
Which sucks for me since I got burned out of a balor and large copper dragon on my very first trade. Sorry guys, but I won't be trading here again. | |

| I too have been effectively screwed by both 2manyfigs and thebabblingbard......which I know am led to believe are the same person and the exwife thing was a lie and alotta b.s.. I am out a large sliver dragon and a ogre ravager which I was to recieve.

| I'd like to report both 2manyfigs and Babbling Bard as bad traders.
2manyfigs agreed on a trade with me and then disappeared. Fortunately I hadn't shipped anything. Then her now ex-husband (Babbling Bard) contacted me about picking up and continuing with the trade in her stead. I agreed and was actually surprised that he would honor her trades. Well, that glee has now changed to dismay as I still haven't recieved the trade. Bard posted that he shipped on the 16th of september which was 5 days after he was suppose too. The package has yet to arrive and Bard hasn't acknowledge any of my attempts at contacting him. I am deleting the trade from my trade list and will not be honoring this trade on my end from this point on. If, and I do mean if, the package should arrive, I will have it returned to sender. | |

| The offer seemed funny from the beginning. They/he/she/it made the offer to me and it was very lopsided. So lopsided that I would have felt guilty accepting it as it was, so I struck up an Email conversation to find out about this person (Shannon Sparling), get her want list, and make a counter offer with more figures from me. We exchanged addresses and had agreed that she would send first (thank goodness). She said she would mail and send DC#. No minis or DC# came, so after a week I sent an Email. Her husband responded with the "ex-wife story" and he would honor the trade. Noted other folks going through the same thing. The plan/story almost seemed too wierd and off the wall to have been made up (fact is often stranger than fiction). So, OK, what have I got to loose, I still have my minis and I can wait to see if they show up. Well, it's been almost two weeks since he (James Sparling aka TheBabblingBard) was supposed to have shipped. And he hasn't returned my Emails.
Note, 2manyfigs is the same person who requested folks send any extra minis they could spare to help out a friend who had just lost thier collection in a fire.
This person wanted the minis sent to Mastic, New York. So, if any new traders come around and they are from this area, you might want to ask them to ship first.

| Hi i would like to report that User Grnblk95 backed out of an accepted trade proposal because he said his wife made him sell all his minis,this was my first trade here and i didnt want to report him at first and seem like a jerk,i believe he backed out of the accepted trade on the 21st the day i sent i believe and then i see on the 29th hes offering a drizzt and epic card for trade after telling me he sold all his minis to the local game store,anyhow just thought i should inform someone
he accepted the trade on 9/16

| | yes, seamus is correct. I sold all of my minis except drizzt with epic...lord soth...friendzied berserker...four helmed horrors and an archmage. Those I kept to sell on ebay. I still have an interest in the minis game....passes the time at work. I posted to someone that I had a drizzt with epic that I would be willing to part with it. I was going to give seamus magic cards for a few figs. I sent him an email before he was to have allegedly sent asking him to hold onto his figs as I was no longer able to pursue 2 different types of games(minis and magic) due to time constaints. He responded 2 days later saying he had already sent on the 21st...I assured him that I would return said figs at my cost and that I was sorry for the inconvenience. For the record it is now the second of october and I have not seen the alleged figs sent or recieved a dc to track. He claimed his mommy sent them ups or somthing at workon the 21st of sept.. I can send a ground package thru my ups store to anywhere in the continental us in 4 days top. So he can cry all he wants about how the deal went bad....but I formally appoligized for the trouble and told him I would return at my cost....so why the complaint. My question is this....did you every actually send(on the 21st as you claimed)? Where did you ship from?...China? Or do you wish to just harass me....either way I don't care I am not trading or collecting the minis anymore anyway. It just pisses me off that some people are so petty. So if it suits the mods on this site to list me as a bad trader....so be it. Just so you know for the future seamus....when you choose to libel someone about a trade allegedly gone bad make sure of two things. Firstly ...that you have your facts straight....and second that you actually get your figures back before you register a complaint with an individual. Have a nice day........ | |

| I would like to report myself as a dumb trader for agreeing to trade magic cards for minis......I would like to report seamus as a bitter trader because my unforseen quiting the game fouled up a trade and now he is a salty dog.....sorry richard...
For the record....anyone who decides to trade with seamus in the future........plan on waiting at least 10 days for your packages from him thru ups.......how suspect. | |

By gone bad do you mean they agreed to send and then never did, although you didn't either?
Tthere's been a lot of new members lately and I strongly recommend that vetran traders require new traders to send first. I've upped the number of trades I use as a bench mark because of what gausse is refering to.

| did the right thing about what......what was the point I don't play the game anymore.....I don't have anything that belongs to you....I am not trading on this site....all because I posted about getting rid of a drizzt......sorry I brought It here to get rid of.....I figured people on this site would appreciate the fig......I guess I should have gone straight to ebay and forgone the minis gamers on this site......this will be my last comment on this issue....and likely my last post.....thanks to all the good traders out there who made my original trading experience on this site a good one.....peace and good gaming!

Although I would hardly call it a "fiasco" when you never even had the figs in the mail because someone allegedly forgot to send it out for you. I am pretty sure you could have found out in less than 13 days that a box your mother was to have sent never made it out. That would have saved me the trouble of reading your post that claimed I cancelled the deal after you had sent insinuating that I was out to rip you off. I feel somewhat vilified. You make varez look like a good trader on these boards.......nice work...richard! | |
