This thread is designed to be a list of sellers that have provided unreasonably bad service on Ebay. This is not a thread for comments, but is instead a place to list bad sellers, as well as links to threads discussing the full details of the bad service, and a brief list of what made the seller's performance bad. Entries in this thread should roughly follow the following format:

I have dealt with ckgames on a couple of occasions and didn't had a single problem. I've never dealt with the other to be able to say it's not him. I can only vouch for ckgames from my own personal experiences. Infact, my only E-bay problem was on my first purchase. I won 2 Sealed Harbinger Entry Packs, that cost me $62.00 (shipping included), from allstarcards-beverlyhills. Needless to say, after sending him a Certified Check I got nothing in return except bad feedback. Although, once I told him that I was reporting him to E-bay, he got really nice and offered me a cookie. Thankfully, Richard J. Loscalzo is no longer a registered E-bay user. | |

| Found another Sherman, Texas seller. Though supposedly they were from Pottsboro. False labelling so we don't know it's the same old lame seller. So far just_bms_games has a good reputation of 23 (ooooh, we all know it's gotta be the same person) but I'll certainly let you know if I don't get my stuff in a reasonable amount of time. [}:)]

| Slight correction to the above list...
fantasy_quest_dist, ses_games (not listed above), and jotoge_games have all been run by the same 2 women. I have e-mails and other evidence to prove this.
ckgames is a different seller (a guy as opposed to 2 women) but at one point listed his address as 611B at the same address as ses_games listed 611A so it's pretty clear that they at least know each other.
Maybe this is irrelevant, though, because only jotoge_games still seems to be an active eBay seller at this time.

| I see that on Feb. 25, 2006, Zenako gave positive feedback to jotoge_games for the purchase of several DDM cards. It appears he also bought some cards about a week before that and that the feedback was positive.
I have been tempted to buy from jotoge_games but I'm a little worried about it given some of the posts here (and elsewhere). On the third hand, if Zenako hasn't been having problems . . . .

heirodule: sent me a Large Earth Elemental ( HB ) I won in an auction unbagged, with no other protection than a regular yellow bare;y bubbled envelopped with the stat card barely attached to it, in a card holder. Result: the unbagged mini was still in acceptable shape, but the stat card is badly torned. Since I was never left a feedback by them, I cannot even leave a neutral feedback for this seller. I emailed about the stat card and will keep you posted on what happens next. heirodule still has a perfect rating, so I am still hoping this is just a very bad oversight... [V] | |

| Watch out for a seller named Chalous (Jeff Sana). My items never arrived and he gave me a bogus tracking number. He strung me along just long enough to slip past the time limit on complaints and then stopped answering my emails so there was f-all I could do about it.
And just to provide more info so any eBay buyers can make a fully informed choice, I've bought from both ckgames & jotoge_games and never had a problem with either. | |

| Just a quick question pertaining to damaged merchandise upon delivery. Should the seller be catalogued as a bad seller if the item arrived in less than perfect condition (as per advertised) if the seller offered insurance and the buyer decided to not opt for that?
I'd hate to see people listing sellers who DO offer insurance (because let's face it, there are a bunch of rough people handling your packages at the post offices) but the buyer opted out and then the item arrives in bad condition and now they demand FULL compensation. Insurance is there to cover that problem as anyone can claim their item(s) arrived crushed, etc.
I've had a few instances when this happened and once I did not opt for insurance and the seller was nice enough (after a few negotiating emails) to replace the item by me sending the old back; but the rest I had insurance and the solution was instantaneous, no hassle.

| Very slow shipping with jotoge_games back in Sept. 2005. (over a month before they actually mailed it) And was unresponsive to emails, I had to do a paypal chargeback before he replied to any emails.
Haven't bought anything from them since so I don't know first hand if he's improved or not.

| I purchased a Yuan-ti abomination from Ebay seller "grand_emporium" (aka Randy Stallions, feedback 202, 100% positive) via Buy-it-now for $8 and paid $2 shipping. I received it today (5/1/06).
He listed the item as, and I quote from the actual auction listing:
"This auction is for a Aberrations, Yuan-Ti Abomination. It has been opened, but it and stat card are in Near Mint condition! The figure has a slight tilt, which came from the factory bag like that."
Now, I've seen my share of miniatures have a slight lean to them. And after the recent gripes over the War Drums paints issue and the more recently leaked photos from War of the Dragon Queen set, I'm a firm believer that Wizards of the Coast is highly aware of the quality of products they send out with their name stamped on them. Each miniature is given the love and care from each and every employee, from the sculptors to the marketers to the designers, etc.
Given all of that, I find it hard to believe that Wizards of the Coast would send out one of their miniatures broken in half and then poorly repaired with a hot-glue gun so that there is a large gap in the repair area and that the figure has a significant lean to it, all in a sealed plastic bag in a booster. Call me crazy, call me stupid, but I just don't think that's WOTC quality. If it was broken in the bag on the assemblyline, I highly doubt it would have ever made it into a booster box like that. Though not out of the realm of possibilities, the statement in the auction "which came from the factory bag like that" - I find hard to belive.
In addition, I don't know about any of you, but my definition of "Near Mint condition" does NOT include miniatures that have been broken in half and then glued back together possibly via a cheap Wal-mart glue gun. The seller described this as "a slight lean."
Now, I have absolutely no proof that the seller was the one responsible for the break nor the repair. However, the seller is responsible for listing their items accurately and truthfully. I don't think it'd be much of a stretch to say that there was some....oh say....DECEPTION in this listing.
Word to the wise, buy from this seller at your own risk.
I'm returning the item if he'll answer my emails now that he has my money...and I'm never buying from him again.

| Damn, I purchase a Corran Horn pre-release today from jotoge_games. I didn't realize it was fantasy quest until I saw that their e-mail address included the words fantasy_quest. I'll let you all know if/when I receive. Think of it as an experiment. By the way I spent less than $10, so it's no biggie.

I just paid for something from them on May 26th. Not here yet but after two weeks I will be following up for sure. Wish I had checked here first before I bid on it.

| Took 19 days and a claim with Paypal for them to ship. Received all items. During the 19 days I received an email on 5/23/06 that they had been shipped on 5/20/06. I received the miniatures on 6/1/06 with the post mark showing that it was shipped on 5/30/06!!

| I have to recommend that you stay away from andersonarcana_com. I purchased minis from him in a pre-sale. Several weeks later he refunded my money and refused to deliver the items. I tried to work with him, but he flat out refused. You can find more details on the situation in this thread:

I think it would really great to have a list on the beginning of the thread as it is a bit confussing as they are everywhere through it.
On that note I'm having a major problem with brontosaurus.
I won a bunch of minis from them a month ago and have emailed 3 times and not getting a response of where my order is and if even its been shipped.
I'll keep ya's posted.

finally shipped the order after I threaten to post his name on the site...which i did do because there was no reply. He states that he doesn't have all the minis and there will be a second package later on.........! I won them over a month ago!
