| It is my opinion that hellspawn914 is a bad Ebay seller. I believe this to be true for the following reasons.
Late shipping
Unreasonably slow shipping to US (without any indication of the expected time to ship)
Apparently deceptive communications
Retributive feedback
The details are as follows:
On October 15, I won an auction for a set of Underdark uncommons. The auction listed the items as being available in 'early November'. I paid on October 15 and awaited my package.
In the third or fourth week of November (exact date unavailable), I contacted the seller to inquire as to the status of my package. They told me that they had mailed it a few weeks earlier (exact date unavailable) and that it might take a month to get to me.
At that time, I felt like they had delayed the shipping by a slight bit, but that it was on the edge of being reasonable to have delayed the extra time to get it out the door. However, I felt it completely unreasonable that they did not list in their auction listing that they expected shipping from their location to the US to take a month!
After one month, I contacted them again. They reported that the package had been returned to them, and that they had already resent it. Accordingly, I was going to have to wait up to an additional month for the package. They made no indication of why it was returned to them.
The package arrived on 12/13, roughly 6 weeks after the set release. There was no indication on the package that it had been resent through the mail, so they either repackaged it, or lied about Canadian post returning it to them.
I contacted them to voice my displeasure. They offered to give me a full refund in exchange for positive feedback. As I considered this a bribe (and an acknowledgment that they had done wrong), I declined their offer, and informed them that I'd be leaving neutral feedback, as the product did arrive, but took an unreasonable amount of time.
I left a neutral review on Ebay stating: "LATE shipping. Told it'd ship on 11/09. Actually went 11/22. Arrived 12/13."
They responded by leaving me negative feedback stating: "Pkg was returned to us by CanadaPost had to be reshiped stillblamesus Impatient".
Accordingly, I am listing them as a bad seller for the abpve reasons. If you have had bad experiences with this seller, please list them on this thread. | |
